Its like watching England of old trying to break a team down here
Just wanna point out to any who werent impressed with our 6-1 win over Panama, and yes the FIFA Rankings are pointless BUT...
- Panama are higher in the Rankings than South Korea - There is a bigger gap in the Rankings between Germany and South Korea than there is England and Panama
If both matches end 1-0, all three teams are tied on points, goal difference and goals scored.
All three teams would have three points in the head to head to head records as well as the same goal difference. Sweden and Germany would both have scored two while Mexico would have scored one.
So Mexico would finish third on head to head to head goals scored.
Then Sweden would finish 1st and Germany 2nd based on their fair play records. That is unless they then take away the Mexico results and look purely between Germany and Sweden head to head in which case Germany would win the group with Sweden 2nd.
Jonathan Pearce keeps saying if Germany and Sweden win 1-0 then Sweden win the group and Germany second on goals scored
Thats not right tho is it If both win 1-0 than surely its Mexico and Sweden who go through
The BBC website is saying the same thing, still can't work out why as all 3 would have identical GD and the same number of goals, and each would have 1 win and 1 defeat in the head to heads

Stone wall to me
1-0 Sweden
2. Mexico 6pts
3. Germany 4pts
4. Korea 1pt
Or will that see Mexico go out?
If Sweden score to win 2-0 another while Germany win 1-0, Mexico would be 3rd on goal difference.

Its like when Arsenal are 0-0 in the 97th min and counting.
Come on South Korea, just give Sonny boy one decent chance.
Sweden now need to avoid doing anything stupid in terms of fouls as if it goes to lots then you know the jammy Germans will get through

If Germany win they're through in second, as it stands and Mexico eliminated in third.
I say 'could', i think we all know it'll happen as Germany will definitely nick a winner. It's inevitable.
