Is it just a premier league thing to book diving? Seen a lot of diving in this tournament and no punishment, even if it is patently obvious

    That is Neymars problem,
He could have had a shot, but he choose to dive

That's got to be the reason why he didn't give it.

Never ever a penalty that. Referee gets it spot on. Even if VAR do contact the referee, he doesn't have to review it. Danny Murphy talks some shit doesn't he?!

Does that matter? No different to an off the ball incident?
Genuine question as I'm not sure how the law works in that instance

But IF VAR say it needs to be reviewed then surely he should, thats what it is there for

Ball was dead, but it's not as if the defender clumped him, it was an attempt to win the ball

If the ball is dead, you can't be awarded a free kick or penalty as far as I'm aware.

That's why the headbutt on Henderson for instance wouldn't have been a penalty.

    STEP 3
    Decision or action is taken
The referee decides to review the video footage on the side of the field of play before taking the appropriate action/decision, or the referee accepts the information from the VAR and takes the appropriate action/decision.

Between their fans, the film ‘In Bruges’ and Roland I’ve decided I never want to visit Belgium again. What a boring country.

I remember Rufus getting sent off at Newcastle before they took a corner and they just retook the corner, as it was a dead ball.

Exactly it says the receree accepts the infirmation a d takes the appropriate action so VAR have told him he doesnt need to review it otherwise he would have done
