Charlton youngster Toby Stevenson has enjoyed a whirlwind last six weeks. In that time, the defender has made his senior debut, scored a hat-trick, netted in the Emirates FA Cup and made his Valley bow.
For the Mansfield Town FA Cup replay edition of Valley Review, he sat down with George Jones to discuss the last six weeks…

Good move for him... Hope it works out well0

Slightly surprised seeing that purrington is our only fit LB. I guess it shows how far down the pecking order he is3

pity … hat trick hero to nearly zero0

something seems a little odd about this to me. Young Tony seemed to be flying and has just disappeared despite the fact we have obvious issues in his position. Am I reading something where there is nothing? Hope so. Good luck to the lad on the loan.0

He scored his hat-trick against Stevenage reserves. Still a tremendous achievement on his professional debut but an old pro like Bowyer knows its value in comparison to Championship football.
A few games of mens football might be what he needs and, being young still, he could come again.3 -
Looked poor for the under 23's on Monday. Seems to have regressed which is disappointing to see. Got skinned twice out wide by the Bristol centre forward in the first half.0

Watched him in a pre season friendly at Biggleswade Town and he had a bit of a stinker and I was bigging him up pre game to friends after being at the Stevenage 8-0 game . A loan move will do him the world of good .0

I’ve only seen him once; he looked limited on the ball ( not that Purrington is Chris Powell) but he always wanted it and showed personality0

A slightly strange career, with that hattrick on his EFL Cup debut and then surprisingly being picked up by Watford2
