whats worse is that our only recognised RB & LB are both injured & when fit are injury prone & can't make a run of games. Billy Clarke will not be fit for the start of the season & Marshall was reportedly told he was surplus to requirements....which given the current circumstanxes is bizare in the extreme. Then we have 2 forwards who may not be available either.

Looking at the above list I make it just 13 players who could be available to start against Welling. If the takeover diesn't happen next week then we are certs for relegation......trying getting your £45m then Mr RD !!!

    Trust in Bowyer
To work the loan and free transfer market
  • After the departure of Lennon this morning the first team squad is now down to 18, with one goalkeeper, 2 doubtful for the start of the season and 2 others that who knows what happens there.

Is this as bad as it gets, or will anymore leave more anyone comes in?

Bowyer says he's happy to see 5 leave......so assuming Konsa & Lennon were 2 of them expect to see at least another 3 go before LB wakes up & finds RD has fu*ked him over as usual.

  • Cheers. We need to buy some players then.
  • Dillon Phillips can continue our tradition of producing top class goalkeepers.

We have a lot of youngsters ready to step up to the first team along with an experienced core.

Bowyers boys will be amazing next year. Automatic promotion is a real possibility. Roll on the new season.

  • Nearly everyone out of contract this year as well

Interesting Bowyer sees JFC and Aribo as our only CMs with Maloney and Lapslie next in line but not ready.

Either he’s forgotten Dijksteel or sees him as a right back. Also suggests he doesn’t see Reeves or Clarke as an option there.

He wanted Agogo so we know the type of player he wants to bring in there.

Assuming Vetokele goes (and depending on KAG and RHF) I would say we need 7 players:

    GK
    RB
    CB
    LB
    CM
    CM
    ST

Btw @Henry Irving it’s Lyle Taylor, not Kyle
  • In relative terms, we seem to have more depth in attacking areas than elsewhere now

For now. We all know Vetokele wont be here come August, Magennis could well be leaving & both KAG & RHF may be detained elsewhere.

My main concern atm is full backs. Solly wasn't the player he was & another knee op isn't going to help......to assume Djikstel can play 46 league games there is foolish in the extreme.

and Page is injury prone too.

Yes, relatively speaking. Though not sure one inexperienced goalie and two injury prone full backs is much of a comparison.
