Imo a bit ridiculous, 13 months for exposing nonces - I suppose the law of the land etc etc.

But he didn't expose nonces. They had already been exposed, hence the trial, and will all be reported on in the media once all the relevant trials are concluded. Tommy Robinson didn't expose anything. Not a single child is safer for his actions. All he did was create the risk of a mistrial, which would see the people accused of these crimes walk free.
I didn’t know about that particular case until he “exposed” it.
  • We have an Asian grooming gang epidemic in the U.K. and it gets v little coverage - that is not bullshit or a brexiteers opinion its a fact. Tommy is a little too radical for me and people do interpret the things he says a little too literally but I don’t think what he done was that bad and good on him for broadcasting it

I think it does get coverage.

Are any of those links for this specific trial?

Also proof that there is a serious problem especially in the north of the country, aren’t 85% of child grooming attacks carried out by Asian males?.
    NO

That link you have posted says 75% of the grooming attacks are carried out by Pakistani Asian men, I believe that is quite a clear majority.

Not saying that isn't the case or doubting what you say but can you point out where in the article it actually says that - I seem to have missed where it says that after 2 or 3 readings, could you quote it for me?

The proportion of offenders or suspected offenders varies from study to study, but was anywhere from 27% to 75%

AS I HAVE SAID MANY TIME I AM REFERRING TO GROOMING GANGS ONLY NOT ALL SEX OFFENDERS.

  • Love this from the original article:

    'He was doing journalism.'

Yeah that was a whopping big clue as to the credibility of the author. Another one was he descibes himself right at the start as the "Rebel Commander"...

But, you know, how is anyone to know the story underneath is likely to turn out to be a steaming pile of misleading shite about an associate, written by someone with an agenda? It's just so difficult to find out about someone's journalistic credentials these days...
  • It's hard to disagree with everything he says, but the time and place he is saying it is, in the judges view, jeopardising the cause he claims to stand for. By continuing to do what he is doing, and has pleaded guilty to, he has admitted that attacking islam is more important that ensuring justice is done.

There is very little to gain (apart from his own notoriety) from his recent actions, but everything to lose. There is simply no defence for him deliberately, and with full fore-knowledge, risking to the prosecution of these monsters.

I think the main problem here is that you're not clear on the legal facts. Firstly, it's nothing to do with the judge. It's to do with the jury, who have no legal training and can be swayed by media reporting on cases. Cases take days or weeks to resolve, and that's why Robinson's illegal reporting - which he freely admitted he knew was illegal - was so dangerous. It's been reported that he was performing his nonsense within earshot of jurors entering the building. There are to be three trials regarding this, one of which, separate to the one Robinson was outside of, is ongoing. Cases have to be tried within the bounds of established practice, and it's supremely important that things like reporting bans are adhered to. If enough reporting goes on to jeopardise the neutrality of a jury then the first thing the defence will do is move to have the case stayed. They won't need to grapple with the facts, with trying to defend the disgusting crimes the defendants are accused of, they'll just press the technicality. So - and let's be very clear on this - the 'backwards perverts' that Robinson's supporters are so very concerned about could have walked scot-free from their crimes based on his actions. That point can't be laboured enough; in an attempt to make his point Robinson strongly ran the risk of allowing criminals to get away with their crimes. He's just too stupid or selfish (or both) to understand that
And he knows it. It would suit his purposes to have these people get off on a technicality. He would then claim we treat Muslims different from everyone else and add more fuel to his racist fire.
This is something I probably get more frustrated about than I should. Islam is a religion, a doctrine, I'm pretty sure it isn't a race

The point he has been making, and if you listen to him and put aside your distaste of him, is that it isn't a competition. I hope we all agree that paedophilia is repugnant regardless of what ethnicity, skin pigmentation or fairy tale the perpetrators follow.

The bug difference is these animals who are grooming kids on an industrial scale are all followers of a medieval book, a book that states they are only following the word of the prophet. That on its own is insane, the bit that chills me the most is they are a group of pals, like me and my mates who go to football and have that in common, except their thing is concubines, child sex slaves. If one of my football pals suggested getting involved in something like that, or even hinted they were involved in something like that I'd be at best having a strong chat and at worst delivering a hiding.

At the end of these trials I've seen family members outside the courts screaming that the kids, the victims, are slags and were asking for it. The people screaming this are family members of the perpetrators! Does that not concern anyone?

Forget what they look like or what religion they day they follow, this is similar to the family and friends of that shithouse who was killed whilst burgling the home of 2 pensioners, that sort of shit.

I fully appreciate people don't like him for whatever reason, to a degree I don't as i think he encourages those who are simply bigoted to use him as a hero and like a lot of those who hate him, they aren't listening to what he is saying.

I respect anyone's right to an opinion and their right to disagree with me and him. What I can't take so seriously is people dismissing what he is saying purely because they don't like him.

Got a source for that bit in bold? Fairly sure the Quran says that rape is forbidden.

Stephen isn't actually doing anything. These people are already facing trial, which he is putting at risk and for what reason? To alert the public that these gang's exist? To try and prevent it? To help the victims families? To make himself come across as some hero?

I think the people trying to bring people to justice, help the victims, put a end to it are the ones you won't hear about. It's not just Stephen who is doing something.

If one of the people he filmed is found innocent what will the people down his road think when he returns? Or the family who had no idea what their son was up to as he's been sentenced. Things can get very messy.

You are arguing the semantics of bigotry. Despite the fact you seem to have no understanding of what a good Muslim and a bad Muslim is, it doesn't really matter. Evil is evil no matter you race or religion.

Saying that i haven't read much from anyone about the Catholic church protecting paedophiles or the 26 bishops sitting in the house of deciding our laws. It seems it is only certain paedophiles and certain religious involvement in a supposedly secular state that the indignation is reserved for.
  • Religion is just one aspect of this, culture is another. @bigstemarra made some excellent points about this. People believe in all kinds of bollocks, but it doesn't always end in the grooming and rape of children. Someone else pointed to a study that showed the reason these gangs go for teenagers isn't because they are young, it's because they are vulnerable. They aren't the classic paedos that are attracted to young kids (they turned out to be all white, not surprising seeing as most people in this country are).

Lots of big problems here, such as the failure to stand up and challenge the innate mysogyny and bigotry in certain cultures - such as those seen in certain Arab states, the subcontinent, sects of Judaism... (There it is, I just said it), and also endemic here. Think of who the victims were. A lot of kids in care, considered scum not just by the perpetrators, the police as well. it's all fucked up.

Religion is all nonsense but not the be all and end all of the argument. To just make it all about Islam misses the real point.

If I had to do something, it would be to tackle idiotic thinking about superiority based on colour, creed or religion, not allow faith schools that didn't follow the curriculum, and quite frankly put some honest debate into schools. I know at least three female teachers who have worked in London who have all told me that male Muslims refuse to listen to them. Fuck them. I share your anger @Carter I really do but sorting it out with ill focused hatred such as that by Robinson makes it worse not better.

Says the man who has just gone on an ill focused rant... Sorry.

You've completely misunderstood what I said then. I was doing the opposite.

The Catholic church are as bad if not worse for what they have actively covered up and been involved in. The point I am making is people are doing what they are doing and using the pathetic excuse of religion to do it.

As far as good Muslims and bad Muslims go, I don't give a shit. Their choice of fairy tale is irrelevant to me, I raised the point of some interpreting an old book literally. I probably work with plenty of good Muslims, it's not something I keep stock of to be honest. I'm more interested in good human beings and bad human beings, the Catholic church disgusts me for how they have closed shop and Islam is doing a similar job, more so because they are tight knit groups. It must be shit if you know someone close to you is molesting and grooming kids yet for fear of being disowned by your group you keep your mouth shut. Same applies to any group, it just so happens in this instance we are referring to young Muslim men rather.
Oh it just happens to be Muslims in this instance? Sure. 'Tommy Robinson'- Paedo hunter, not only leader of a far right group but protecting our children. I expect to see him heading straight to Vatican city when he gets released. That or trying using some other horriffic event to his own ends no matter the cost.

Do you really think he cared about the victims, the process of law and justice or fostering hated against a group of people based on false indignation. What wrong was he even righting?

Why are you listening to anything he says? He is either, at best, negligently stupid or at worst colluding with the very people he condemned to pervert justice for the victims, either way at the continuing cost to the public. I might be prejudiced, but the funny thing is I'm happy my tax is being used to lock that pillock up.
    Eh?

I listen to what lots of people say, whether I like it or not. That's how I form opinions, the world isn't black and white, I'll give as much ear space to him as I would anyone else, I listen to James O'Brien who is at the total opposite end of the spectrum. I listen to Frankie Boyle who is about as left wing as you can go, granted it's hidden among a lot of vulgarity.

This isn't aimed at anyone in particular, it's an observation. Daily I'll see a load of bollocks from both sides of the viewpoint coin usually with "leftie, liberal snowflake" or "far right bigot" attached to it, it's all a load of bollocks. I'm allowed to listen and agree with what someone like Tommy Robinson (nobody makes a fuss about Muhammed Ali's birth name being Cassius Clay) without being a bigot says and also agree with Russel Brand when he's pointing out social injustices. The problem I've mentioned before is people tend to agree or disagree based on whether or not they like or dislike the person saying whatever it is they are saying.

I thought he was outside the court for the sentencing, if so how could he possibly jeopardise anything?

Unless the judge is looking out of the window and thinks "there's that Robinson bloke, I don't listen to what he says but I've decided he's a racist and I don't like the look of him so I'm going to not sentence these dirty bastards due up in front of me to anytbing more than litter picking"

Lets forget the fact that the backwards perverts who have been ruining the lives of children have been roaming free since beung found guilty. There's no way they could do a bunk or intimidate anyone or Even carry on with their revolting ways

    Koran 4:3

    You're welcome.

    Who were the away team?
    The rapees, probably.
