And in the Checkatrade EFL clubs (i.e. us) will now be able to include players who are on loan at National League clubs. This could be handy in that players we've loaned out to National League clubs can still get some experience playing for our "first" team.

We loan a player out he plays for his team on Saturday, on Monday we say we want him for Tuesday nights game.
Then the club he is on loan to will lose him for 2 or 3 days with travelling and training with our team and it messes there training up, also we then have a player playing who is not used to playing with our team and players as he has been out on loan for ages.
He then has to travel back to his loan team intime to play on saturday.
IMO if a player is out on loan thats it he should only play for us if we recall him
I imagine there will be discussions between both clubs as to whether the player should be recalled for the match or not
After all, the NL club will send the player back quickly enough if they were to get injured...
-- A slightly wider goal at one end, a slightly taller goal at the other end
-- The home team is allowed to play 12 players for the last 10 minutes
-- The manager can play a joker which means that there are no offsides for his team for 10 minutes
-- The away goalkeeper has to juggle three oranges while a corner is being taken
-- Any goal that goes in-off the post or bar counts as two goals
-- Players shielding the ball within 2 yards of the corner flag can be kicked
-- Referees to use a bell instead of a whistle
That should make it more fun.
I'd be surprised if it still exists in 4-5 years time.

Just continues the farce that this competition has become.
I suspect Carabao is a big brand in the far east is the real reason.
They should take some ideas from this. Might make it worth watching.
