so probably by KO c700/750 (walk ups and the like)....very reasonable turnout IMO given it's a 12.30 live sky game + throw in the state of the club at the moment and the likely starting 11 etc.
They used to get good crowds for public executions too.
Think I may have been possessed earlier today. Ticket and valley express purchased. No logical reason why I'd agree to get up at 3:30 on a Saturday, go to bexleyheath where the drunks are probably still out and spend pretty much the entire day on a coach for 90mins of football.
Get a 486 to Charlton it runs all night and will probably get you there in about 30 mins that time of morning. Bit of extra time in bed and 2 less hours extra farting around un-necessarily on the coach.
Hope you all have an enjoyable day, aperture from the result of course.
Our team is starting to take shape and our the pre season we have started to see the team coming together. Yes there are a lot of new faces , eleven up to now with one or two more possible. The signings all seem to fit a pattern of players who want to be here with experience at this level and a number of Scots who Jack Ross was looking at for the Scottish premiership had he stayed up there.
A lot of players have left and as fans we are happy to see most of them go. We had to many who thought they were to good for us and league 1, even though they had played in two back to back relegations. still a few to get out the door, including two who have not even bothered turning up for pre season. For once the club is taking a stand and we have stopped their wages until they turn up when they will be disciplined and face fines for breach of contract.
As fans we are loving the new owners and their openness and their willingness to take on what was seen as the rotten core at the heart of the squad. All of n all as fans we are feeling better about the future than we have for a number of years. I know that it might not gel on day one but we are going in the right direction.
By the way have a look at our forum and join in the banter.
By they way F off is the standard welcome and not an insult to all visiting fans. Always in jest but for some reason it has become a standing joke, so don't be offended.
