So despite his headline declaring Taylor “will” play, and Bowyer confirming he won’t, Nixon still insists his story is right.

If nobody believes anything this Nixon bloke is saying then how about we stop bringing his name up ever other post?

I forgot to mention that Danny Murphy also put film premieres before club.

Wasting your time, I've tried to convince people to ignore him. I'm sure some just like the attention with likes and reposts.

Taylor, don’t wish him harm or an early end to his football playing career, but he is a media seeking attention, selfish t**t, downing tools is a cowards way out. Quite how other managers/coaches wanting to work with him, or his future team mates is beyond me, Solly as well, although he can’t be accused of seeking attention.

Other managers/players will be more than happy to have him in their team because he will bust a gut for them, just as he has for Charlton for the last two seasons (minus this final ridiculous bit).

Well this time redhenry agreed with him by saying Taylor would play until the 30th June, so it looked like there was something in it.

    Red Henry sit on the naughty step;
    Nixon you numpty.

I personally believe that Lyle Taylor did think about honouring his contact and that's why RH of this Parish and Nixon from some comic heard about it.

Then either because of the logistics of fitness, the reaction on social media or the last chance of him getting a life changing two or three year contract somewhere over the rainbow made Lyle go into his default position: if you can't get a decent contract where you are; move on.

Gutted that it will tarnish his reputation at the valley but with the state of CAFC, our priority is to stay in the Championship.

We move on, and hope upon hope that our top scorer and assists man won't be missed.

I'd assume that Taylor 'offered' to come in for training as he is contractually obliged to, and therefore means we can't dock his salary this week if he says he's willing to turn up and train.

But Bowyer probably said there's no point and told him not bother.

Bows should have let him and then told Pearce to make sure he didn't get that move!

Just proves that unless you are the persons involved in whatever is rumoured, you can never truly be ITK

Will be a big loss for them... Middlesbrough's issue has been scoring goals rather than keeping them out

Lose one of your main defenders though...

Not that I know how much he's been involved

Only missed 1 league game up until New Year’s Day but hasn’t played since.
That coincides with their worst run of form (their only win since new years day was in SE7).

Bloody typical. We have always been the team that you want to play if you are in a terrible run of form.
