He missed three games.  He was truthful.  Plenty of people, and plenty of lifers have conned their employers and customers more.  Have a word with yourself cafctom and get some perspective.  Players have done this for decades.
Disagree with the majority on here if you want, but no need for a comment like this.

Forest fans seem pretty happy about it. http://www.forestforum.co.uk/showthread.php?t=48366&page=11

They need to hope that he doesnt have a good first half of the season and starts eyeing up his next move in Jan!
  • Hope we get the chance to play against him before he retires. Will give him the treatment, walked out when we needed him most.

    You'd think they'd signed Messi

It’ll be interesting to see how he does during the season while fans are not in the stands. Of course he can play and score anytime, but a part of that is playing up to the opposition fans and showing off to his own fans.

Tosser will get injured early doors and sit around his garden for half the season.

Said it before but he'll go the same way as Ricky Holmes

Peaked with us in a journeyman career, will flop at Forest, probably end up injured will score 5 goals at most next season as can't see him being on penalty duties. And if he does take them you can guarantee he'll miss one with that slow walk up and won't have the credit in the bank with the fans to get away with it.

Probably be back in League One in a year's time.

Seen so many Forest fans say they are gonna piss the league now they have signed Taylor

Lol he aint that good, he isnt the difference between 7th and pissing the league
  • The blokes an attention seeker, bet he hated having to stay quiet on social media for so long. He was happy to play for Montserrat risking injury to himself whilst under contract for us, which happened and meant we missed him for majority of the season. Didn’t have the spine to fight for another 8 games for the club that supported him during his injury. I don’t generally agree with booing ex players on their return but would do to him as it’s genuinely deserved.

He is a 15-20 goals per season striker . He will be the difference for them as much as.it grates me to say.

What till he goes off on international duty with South Sudan (or where ever his grandads parrot was born) and comes back with a sore toe. They will soon have the measure of him.

Not impossible, Yann was the difference between us winning League 1 and probably being in the play-offs.

Forest manager was known last season for playing
4-2-3-1 at home and 4-3-3 away

So unless he changes formation Taylor is only gonna play away games and maybe the last 20 minutes at home if Grabben gets tired, just don't see him having a massive impact.

Also lets face it at AFC Wimbledon he was number 1 striker
At Charlton he was number 1 striker

Someone with his ego wont handle being number 2 striker, probably not on penalty duty either

To be honest, at the time I was disappointed rather than angry, but given how things played out that seriously pisses me off. Particularly the bit about especially thanking the manager, given that his decision not to play made Bowyer's job significantly harder, both at the time and now we've been relegated.
One thing I would say is if we do end up playing him again, the last thing we should be doing is giving him the treatment, because he thrives on that. Instead big up our own forwards, no matter how shit they may be, and save the boos and chants of "there's only one gutless wanker" for when he gets subbed off.

The money will be, would imagine he's at least doubled what he was on with us, probably more.

Having said that, I do hope Bauer repeatedly kicks him up in the air when they play Preston.

If some of their fans don’t comment on how they do not want him after refusing to play for us and basically relegating us I will have a very low opinion of them

So he goes from being very rich to very very rich.

Yes he gets richer but I wouldn't say it's life changing money when he already has a comfortable life anyway.

    £20,000 x 52 x 3 = £3.12M for example.

So bigger and better to Karlan Grant is Huddersfield town. They just happened to be in a more fortunate position. I.e having a half decent good owner.  Forest haven’t been in the top flight for over 20 years.  There was a time for recently when there was 2 divisions  separating us.

So because we are down on our luck it’s ok for us fans to be treated like crap and completely disrespected just because we don’t have any money.
