Yep, and I’m prepared to slap the first Lifer who posts ‘Guess who just scored for Forest’ on any upcoming match threads.
    Even if it's Grabban???

Did anyone see Lyle Taylor’s comments on
    Nottinghamshire Life news?
he may have  been arrogant and selfish to his fellow teammates and fans and bows and now probably feels he is smart after the event etc,
but in truth he is/ was just a stupid man.
if he had played only 5 of the last nine games for Charlton we would have stayed up, and he would have left a hero.
i will give the arrogant man of glass 6 to 8 games at forest before he is injured.
we are better off without the snake 👍👍

I hope the 1st couple of penalties awarded to forest this season are taken by Taylor.
Both get saved and the fan's turn on the prick.
I’d be surprised if Grabban gives up his penalties for Taylor. I’m sure we’ll see one of those pathetic scenes next season where they’re fighting over the ball for a penalty.
... resulting in both getting sent off. The next-in-line penalty taker scores and keeps the job for the rest of the season.

The ex-number 9 (he whose name I'll not mention again) is lucky that he's not going to be facing us this season. There's no way on earth that we'll get far enough in a cup competition to be playing Forest and, even if we do, it'll probably be at the City Ground with away fans banned because of Covid restrictions.

Honestly think we should move on and not even mention the mans name now.  Bad luck or good luck messages, it fuels his ego, you know he’s the type to sit there googling his name and on various social media sites.

If you are in the majority who are pissed off, it would hurt him a lot more if we wiped our mouths and never spoke of him again.  He thrives on your abuse.

Saw a Charlton fan post this on twitter, thought it summed up the situation quite nicely.

    😂😂😂 That is brilliant!

Exactly and he'll probably indulge in a bit of victim status as well. If Charlton have the misfortune to play against him it will just be best to pretend he doesn't exist.

He can save all his bulls*** for Forest now.

Totally agree, job done, he has proven to everyone he is a selfish twerp who will throw anyone under the bus, even his own team mates for more money. Fair enough it helps his future but at the detriment of his character.

He isn't special, he is definitey affected by the negative comments as he knows they are justified. Whether his career from here on out is successful or not is irrelevent because he will always be known (even outside of Charlton) as the player who downed tools and turned his back on all those who helped him before.

    Great legacy

No attention keeps him irrelevent, don't feed the ego.
  • One thing I would say, Blackett, Colback and Taylor all on frees is good business by Forest.

I’m still fucked off by it...one goal would’ve saved us.

never normally wish ill on a player but I wouldn’t shed any tears if he managed to get a nice injury in his first game.

hope he totally bollocks up his first pen too

Completely agree. I've never wished injury on any player and maybe I wont wish it on Lyle either, however if he does happen to pick up a little painful season ending injury I'm not ashamed to admit I'll be cracking open a beer to celebrate.

Some will think that's harsh but so be it.

Would he care though? Gets to sit at home being paid his nice new salary while doing fuck all to earn it.

Hopefully now he’s signed for Forest this thread can be closed and buried in the ground for eternity. But I’m certain this thread will be bumped every time he kicks a ball and he will remain on my radar forever.

I don’t think anyone is annoyed he didn’t sign another contract - it’s the refusal in playing in games that he was contracted to do so and condemning us to relegation.

As for grant - the fella has always been a bit of a dick imo

any Charlton fan wishing Taylor well - is also a bit of a dick.

For me personally I hope he has an injury 1st game out
I would say that any Charlton fan making a comment like that about other Charlton fans is a bit of a dick.

I think he would care. He’s a complex individual who isn’t driven purely by money (even though I can see why others may see it differently)

He is also driven by the need for attention and adulation. If he gets injured or doesn’t play and goes without those things then it will impact him.

Yeh, thread might as well be closed if that is what's best.

    It's just a weird situation.

He's not even worth booing. It doesn't even really have the typical competitive nature of football about it and the Judas tag.

He's simply just an overly dramatic prat.

I think a lot of our fans have been overly dramatic.

Overly dramatic? Our best player got us relegated! Are you familiar with the game of football?
