I'd bench him even I'm just to keep the oppo guessing.

And always worth having up our sleeve for a late pen - with Cullen out now too.1

Taylor is such a tease. Wouldn’t surprise me if he’s already signed a contract extension.ForeverAddickted said:
What a statement of intent that would be by the new owners!5 -
With the money they have behind them, signing Taylor is child’s play! That could be found in the petty cash tin!0
-
To be serious for a second though... what a second statement that would be from the new owners. They've told us in their first statement that they will not be commenting further until EFL passes the fit and proper tests. This time next week their second statement is accompanied by Lee and Lyle holding their pen and paper with massive grins on their faces. 3 year extensions for both of them.

Interestingly that tweet was liked by our new Chairman Matt Southall13 -
@MattSouthall84 for anyone who wants to follow him like I just did.3

I wonder if unofficial soundings have been made to the likes of Lyle (or to their agents at least) as any new contracts won't happen until the takeover has gone through which may take a few weeks, but the owners will want to let players (and management) know what their intentions are.0

Sounded like from Bows pre match interview that Lyle will be signing once Bows signs... should quash all the Brentford rumours for Jan!!4

Look forward to him playing some football. Presumably he's been getting paid for the last 2 months since he tripped up playing for someone else.2

Thank god for that.Callumcafc said:

On the bench.0

Obviously not match fit and comitted to 45 rather than projected 20 minutes. Made a difference and didn't use his injury as an excuse not to fill in at RB or LB when they had the ball.
Top six, we are coming for you!2 -
Staying or going?0
-
Hope not, but wouldn't be surprised if he does go, this is probably his last chance to get a big contract as he's 30 in March.

Seen him linked with both West Brom and Rangers today.2

He’s started following our new owner on Instagram2

Also seen Swansea, Sheffield Wednesday and Nottingham Forest mentioned. He's going to have his pick of clubs and we're going to have to make him a very good offer to convince him to stay, unfortunately.

His injury may help us keep him till the summer at the very least.
I doubt we will sell him for to little even if he doesnt sign a contract and a club wont wamt to pay over the top for him as he is just coming back from 2 months out and will be free in the summer.
My guess is he will either sign a contract for us or walk for free in the summer0 -
3 year deal done.0

With us or someone else....??ricky_otto said:3 year deal done.0 -
If the new owners want a marquee signing, this is about as easy as it gets. Get him the pay rise he deserves and let’s push on.6

what were the Bowyer comments that people say were guarded about Taylor?0

Well no there is a 3rd option that we sell him in jan, which I am saying I dont think we will doricky_otto said:

If the offers start coming in and he is offered big money elsewhere, then let him go early,as this will give us time to sign replacements. The last thing we need is a him going on deadline day with nothing else in place.0
