Cant see it confirmed anywhere other than on a parody account?

    That's because it's more nonsense.

I think he will be signing for either Fulham or Brentford. Whoever stays in the champ after tonight.
Why sell his house if he is staying in London?
I wouldn't want to live in Ebsfleet if I was about to get a multimillion pound signing on fee.

Edit: Could have left it at "I wouldn't want to live in Ebsfleet"
Lapslie lives on the same development apparently

Lapslie is gutted Taylor is moving out as he'll now need a new babysitter
  • Heard he might be going to QPR

They haven't got a pot to p**s in. Selling off anyone they can and not renewing contracts.

I would be amazed if someone isn't having you on.

Or are you about to whoose me!

    Would love it

Wants his big move but barely gets somewhere better than us!!

  • Suspect Brentford will take him now  Good cheap option.

A big rebuilding job is needed  The downside of moneyball. Plus they have a new stadium to pay for

To be quite honest, anywhere is a darn sight better than us at the moment.
  • Taylor won't care if he end up at a Scottish Division two club and warms the bench for three seasons.   All he cares about is his "final big money move"
  • Brentford have valued Watkins and Benrahma at 25 million each, if they get even half that they will be shopping for players far better than Lyle.

As you say a rebuilding job is needed

A 30 year old is not their style for rebuilding

Watkins has a buy out clause for 18m according to BBC sport. If both him and benrahma go, taylor would be a nice cheapish option to bolster their attack. They'd still have money to burn on another couple of players too, unfortunately

The likes of Toney fit their model far better

They're generally bought cheaper players than Toney though. Finding gems in the £1-2m bracket is where they've had most success.
  • I’ve heard that Lyle is getting a little anxious now, he is trying to get help with lone training programmes.

My heart bleeds for him. Hopefully he has to scrape the bottom of the barrel and join Palace.

Explains his appearance at the fitness centre in Crewe then, maybe he should have worried about that when he was off kicking a ball around with some YouTube team.
  • It would be a massive blow to his fragile ego if no big deal materialises....
  • He probably won't get the big money contract he would have gotten at his peak but I would still imagine  a lot of clubs in the Championship would be interested. Goal scorers on a free are a rare breed
  • He’ll get a gig at a Championship club but it won’t be the big life changing move he was hoping for as since the New Year football economics has changed and for the coming season at least I can see clubs really reigning it in outside of the PL. Serves the wanker right.

They’ll definitely be a few Championship clubs still interested, but they’ll not be paying him the £15k+ pw he wanted now.
  • Reckon most, if not all, of his options in the UK have all but dried up for one reason or other, and I can still see him going abroad.
  • I disagree
I think alot of people here are letting the hatred we feel towards him which i also share by the way cloud the fact the guy is a pure class player and easily gets into any top 6 championship club if not low level prem and with a striker that can finish 9/10 times and bring what he does to a team as an all round player im sure he isnt short of takers even during this pandemic
Yep, and for relatively cheap as well. He'll get his move, no doubt about that
  • Not so much hatred, just weighing up what he'd get all things considered.

Also think Bowyer's name goes a bit further than Taylor's in the game and what's Bowyer gonna say if asked what Taylor's like? Nice lad, but highly strung with a moral compass way off kilter probably.

    So, Galatasaray after all then?
