Objectively speaking he is very good at football and he would enhance that Celtic team. That said, he might not be the type of player they're looking for. And also, he's an anti-vaxxer, mercenary Tory - so that would NOT go down well.

Anyway. I hope his career goes up the shitter from hereon in, and that he outlives anyone and anything he ever cares about. Except his wealth. I hope that disappears very quickly.
    Whats an anti-vaxxer?

    Hates hoovering.
Ha anti shake and vac. Dont need that song in my head at bedtime.
I think ive worked it out all by myself anyway mate. I must have missed his views on this.

He posted something the other day along the lines of flu deaths being higher than covid deaths and implying he was against a vaccine. Think it was on here a few pages back mate.

I think for so many reasons it is natural to assume that Josh isn’t a particularly bright boy.
Really? I think he’s always come across pretty articulate and intelligent. I just think he is morally bankrupt and made a terrible decision.
Maybe he is an idiot actually

    @orpingtonRED. That's the one

I’m not sure it’s accurate to say he would “enhance that Celtic team”. He would be a decent squad player for them, especially on a free transfer, but they already have better options in that position.

If he didn’t find a club and Bowyer wanted him back, would you take him?

Would score 20 plus in League 1 to get us back to the Championship.

    (......runs for cover).
Only if he professed his regret and apologised all over his social media outlets.

As good a player as he his, he is too far up his own arse and has treated the club like dirt.
The club/Dushitelet let him down on a transfer.  He's bitter because of this.
  • I think he will come unstuck,he will forever be known for what he did at Charlton, would we as fans welcome him to our club knowing that in their desperate times he had deserted his former club,no,and other clubs and their supporters will feel the same.He is linked with Rangers, does anybody honestly think Gerrard would go near anyone with that attitude.

Don’t think his politics will go down well at Celtic

Out of interest, when was the last time Taylor played a full game?
    And that's the point:

    Great article, Weegie.
  • Hopefully he will just get offered a worse deal then what Roland offered last November.

Should have signed on the dotted line LT.

Unfortunately 2 people who up extremely far up their own assholes don't usually ever really get on and see eye to eye.

    The same magnetic force repels.

So because of his hurt feelings he refused to play thus risking us to relegation and thereby screwing over his teammates, Bow and his staff, the club employees and the supporters. What a guy.
    Yes, he probably did.
Why should he care about upsetting fans and ex team mates?  It is only a job.

If it’s only a job, then you wouldn’t go around upsetting clients and colleagues, because eventually your reputation would stop you getting any decent new job.

Fair comment, but I think COVID has come at a bad time for Taylor.

  • Taylor has been a lower league journeyman for much of his career who did very well for us for 18 months. He's 30, worth a punt on a free but clubs will be put off by his refusal to play.
  • I think he was quite likely waiting to see if Brentford went up to be honest. They were willing to pay 3-4 million for him only a few months ago so why would they not want him now on a free.

    Watkins out Taylor in.
Can't imagine for minute that Taylor is in a position to be waiting to see what happened with other clubs promotions. Taylor is no replacement for Watkins.
  • I'd have to disagree, Brentford may have spoken to him already and made it clear that they want him if they stayed down. On that basis why would you not wait rather than rush a decision and end up at a worse Championship club. I think he'll sign somewhere soon and would make Brentford favourites.
  • If he'd have played after lockdown and scored 5 goals he could prob have demanded high end champ striker fees.
    Shot himself in the foot
  • I'd just like to see the Judas go anywhere so we can stop talking about him on this thread! Boring as fuck and who cares... He fucking didn't!
