His agent must be laughing getting him a 3 year deal

Don't think it's quite the move he imagined it to be and think he'll probably still be gutted he didn't get the move to Brentford in January but just glad we can all forget about him now
  • Don't think he'll enjoy playing second fiddle to Grabben.

Look forward to season after next when we're back in the Championship and our dominant centre half (Naby back??) sorts him out.

Unless he has an appearance bonus in his new life changing contract I doubt he'll even care.
  • big contract no doubt as in salary and maybe a signing on fee - be interesting to know if he was told to not play for us for rest if season, If it is forest there fans I’ve met are cocks obsessed with kicking off with derby at England away games and have a Sheffield Wednesday attitude of divine right, decent away day though chicken and tits
  • Hope the terms are not as good as the Brentford offer in Aug or Jan. I wish him no luck whatsoever.
  • Great news... he’s a piece if shit ... I can’t wait for the new shirts to go on sale so I can get a new one...

  • Never felt so let down by a player since Scott Parker. Feel this is far worse though.

  • Pressures on Lyle, don't f*** it up and bottle it, they're gonna want their moneys worth, so all eyes will be firmly  on you ol son
  • Must have been that goal he scored against them that made them want to sign him. I expect to see big Nabbs rock up there next.....😄

    Nail on head twice.
  • Houses in Nottingham are half the price of living in London, he’s definitely going to become the sheriff of Nottingham.

He'll no doubt be on a decent wage and he's at a much bigger club than Brentford.

Him and Grabban will be a very good strike pairing at that level.
  • With Leeds going up, Nottingham forest are now the "biggest" team in one of the highest value and most competitive leagues in the world. Lyle Taylor plays for them and will be paid handsomely for doing so.

They will more than likely be in the mix for promotion again and if they do well he has a chance of ending his career in the Premier League.

No-one knows what club he would have hoped for, but I'd suggest Nottingham Forest would have been pretty high up on the list, on the basis that few if any PL sides would take a punt on a 30 year old who over the course of a 13 year career has played less than half a season above Division 3 level.

I hope he gets the chance to play once more at The Valley just so that he can understand his legacy, but let's not kid ourselves that he has somehow not got what he hoped for - I think he got exactly that.
    I think so too
  • It’s not likely to be announced for awhile, it’s likely been done, hence his stance. The player will want to wait so that he justifies his decision to not play.

  • Forest would be a massive result for him
    decent size club
    c*** wherever he goes

but I understand cos no ones paying his bills in 10 years time but this move will
  • Lived in Nottingham for 15 years from 1990 to 2005, my wife's family are all Forest fans so no doubt I'll get to hear about how much 'bigger' they are than little old Charlton and he chose the bigger and better club (my Mrs by the way is the black sheep of her family and supports Notts County). I hope he is a dramatic fail....but sadly I don't think he will be. As for property in and around Nottingham he could get a very decent property in the village of 'Ravenshead' with huge gardens etc for the money he will be on, compared to what he could get in London.
  • Remember watching the Forest home game on holiday, in a tiny bar in Seville. We looked like a play off contender in the first half and it felt the last few years were behind us. Taylor was on fire that night.

    How times change eh?

He’ll go down as one of my favourite CAFC strikers but it’s been totally ruined by his utterly despicable morals.

Yeah ESI dicked him around. But as others have said, he was happy to take the wages after getting injured playing for his country.

  • Just as well he didnt play anymore for us,couldnt risk missing out on a super duper massive deal to a team that didnt make the play offs last season. Snake. 1 goal Lyle, just 1 goal.
  • Taylor's agent got him a three year deal which not many 30+ year old players get, wonder how much he is getting paid
  • Do one Lyle, coward.
  • Such a cock.
