Should have known he’d make comments like this once he knew his money was coming back in on weekly basis.
Something we’ll never know, but be interested to know which players and staff actually continue conversation with him. He seems very confident that there’s a big community who know and accept why he did what he did.
If's, but's and maybe's are just cyber fodder i know.
IF any one of those few chances that fell to our so called feeble forward line had fallen to Taylor, just one mind, we would be in the Championship (I know we are bollocksed in either division BTW). He was our "star" player, a tallisman in a struggling squad already weighed down and hamstrung by the awful politics engulfing CAFC. The consequences of this selfish action had serious ramifications for his mates, and his lack of loyalty is telling on his character. "He missed three games we won" is bollocks! A man would of played till the end of a devastating season for us and for his team mates.
Now, some are of other opinions on this matter, but for me this is my take and i can never forgive his actions.
I will move on but NOTHING will ever change my mind on this. Nothing more to say on this matter. Karma takes care of most things.
He has let down everybody around him down. The fans who put him on a pedestal, supported him and ultimately supplied his living. The coaching staff who improved him to the point of really getting noticed, and his team mates and club employees who will no doubt be condemned to less pay.
Water of a ducks back? He's gotta be one thick skinned ignoramus.

He missed three games. He was truthful. Plenty of people, and plenty of lifers have conned their employers and customers more. Have a word with yourself cafctom and get some perspective. Players have done this for decades.
WTF are you going on about? He has behaved like an absolute cock. You paid (assume you go) good money to watch your team play with him in it, and he stuck 2 fingers up and downed tools. He was under contract and and refused to see that out.
If we weren’t such a shitshow of a club this wouldn’t have happened , we could have signed the twunt on a decent contract and he’d still be our player in the championship but no we’ve had c*** after c*** turn up and make us the joke club of south London , shameful
I doubt he would have signed another contract even if we had stayed up. He has often left a club once his initial contract had finished. It's all about him & what he can make for himself.
The "who is the biggest villain thread" is an interesting concept.
There are probably 3-4 characters who, if they had not been involved in the club, or had they chosen to do the right thing, we would still be in the championship. Forget about moaning about players performances, it's a matter of people's decisions that have caused this.
Taylor is one of those people. He can pretend he has a load of people who understand and support what he's done, but in reality, I don't think this is the case. There will always be people who love to suck up to people on Instagram, and I'm sure we have that kind of fan too, but even if I wasn't a Charlton fan, I wouldn't want him anywhere near my club given his conduct over the past few months.

I don't think anyone? is criticising him for not signing a new contract, but because he would not see out his old one
Players come and players go at Charlton, that will always be the case. How they do this says a lot about them and you only have to look at what Naby wrote for an instant comparison. As for Grant if you wrote what you wrote then own it, don't delete it. Says in a few words what you are like as a person far more than anything anyone else could write about you?
Not sure why he felt the need to write anything frankly. What he did was clearly unethical, it was the right thing for him personally not the club that had employed him, paid him and covered his wages whilst he was injured.
He should have just slipped off not tried to post some self serving nonsense. He is not worth wasting time on any more and nor is Grant who has always come across as a weasel.
Neither care about Charlton, we should not care about them.

But the rest of us floundering in League 1 can kiss his arse then presumably.
Like water off a duck's back, eh?
Will give me something to read in 2035

Trapped in your own world mate. Haven't got a clue.

For the record this was aimed at Karlan!

The blokes got absolutely no dignity whatsoever.
Have a million times more respect for Scott Parker.
He left when he was 22. Easily influenced youngster.
We got a big pay packet. He ran away like a c*nt but shit happens.
His professionalism is class. West ham days were unbelievable.
