Worth its own thread I think! 100m euros/£88m for a 33 year old.
That's quite a surprise. Fair play to him for moving to a new and competitive league, plus a great coup for Serie A - lots more viewers and sponsors incoming.
Quite a lot of money for a 33 year old but think how much Ronaldo will make Juve from endorsments and marketing, he should also have at least 2 good seasons in him.
Can definitely see them going for Kane and Mbappe, with Benzema going as well. Winning the last three Champions League has been inpressive for them but they've continued to be a pretty dysfunctional club and I was delighted that Atletico finished above them last year.
Ronaldo will keep going until he's about to hit 40. He looks after his body ridiculously well, has been lucky with injuries and is a brand onto himself.
I'd rather sign Ronaldo for 100m than nearly 200m for Neymar. Can't fault Ronaldo, he always seems to be looking for new challenges and I wouldnt be surprised if they get 2-4 more seasons of quality football from him with the shape he's in and how much he looks after himself.
Real are laughing though, bought him for £80m at 24, got 9 years of maybe the best player in their history/one of the 2 best players in the world, sold him for a profit at 33.
Good deal if they reinvest well and they don't have to manage his decline.
The best stat i saw was that he has scored 19.6% of their entire champions league goals since the competition was introduced in 1992, when he only signed for them in 2009.
Madrid got the better end of the deal getting rid of him. I don't even see it as close. Ronaldo has been amazing but he is not likely to live up to his wages at this age. Better to take the £88m and invest in a couple of excellent young players.

Interesting to see what Real do next. Will they sell Bale as well? Will they go after a big name like Mbappe, Kane or Neymar?
Crazy money
