  • RM Are you just talking about BAGS races ? Can you get a decent bet on on non BAGS cards ?

    Non BAGS/BEGS racing are even worse unless the races are being shown in the betting shops or on racing post TV then bookies will not give you early prices. So the best you can do is get couple hundred on at the track.

    Crayfords bias tends to show up in either extreme wet or dry conditions. The sand laid at Crayford is not really good enough. It doesn't retain the moisture and drains quickly from the outside towards the rails. Therefore after watering the inside can after the first few races be 0.20 faster than the outside. But in real heavy rain the outside will drain the excess quicker and the wides can run faster. They have a sprinkler system , rather than a bowser going round, so can water easily between races. But if they don't then the bias can appear.
