Couldn't get to Dartford for 2pm KO today but enjoyed seeing the girls at Crayford last week in the Autumn warm weather when they beat Sheffield United 2-0. Charlton have made the step up to the championship look easy after dominating in the 3rd tier last season. As long as Millwall don't score 5 in 2nd half this will be the 4th win, 1 draw and only one defeat to Man utd who are full time and have the current England LB Greenwood in their side.

Currently in 3rd and just a few points behind the automatic placings
Liz Ejupi was taken off today after 67 minute after scoring her 4th goal.
Liz who is part Albanian (not sure what part) was 1 of the 8 signings in the summer by manager Riteesh Mishra.
Liz came in from Aston villa BUT learnt her football in the Charlton girls academy and has come home to join the success story which is Charlton women.
Also a note we have had someone offer support for the filming tower so thank you to everyone who emailed and got in touch or donated, it's really appreciated and goes a long way.
If anyone has any old Charlton flags they no longer use then we would be happy to put them in the dressing rooms and more to help the players feel more of a Charlton atmosphere
Thanks again
Hi , Simon if you remember I gave you the big hand painted Charlton badge, but I haven't had a chance to get down to Crawford to see it, could you tell me what's it's been used for, or do you have a picture thanks Stuart
Let's hope they step up to third gear for the second half.
A fantastic 8-0 victory. In a few weeks time (Nov 25th) we face Crystal Palace at home (VCD Athletic's ground, The Oakwood in Crayford) and we want to get as many people there as possible to support the team and with many to try out women's football possibly for the first time. It would mean so much to get hundreds of people down to the fixture as we want the support in a local derby.
As mentioned we want to get as many people there as possible to watch the game and cheer on the Addicks so if people are able to re-tweet or spread the message of the game then it will be very appreciated.
I would be interested to hear via private message if there's anything which is putting people off coming which we may be able to resolve (Obviously some things are out of our hands!) but anything we can sort out to help get people there we will do the best within our powers and small staffing. Thank you all for your support.
A reminder on Sunday the Charlton Women have a big game against Crystal Palace and we want to fill up The Oakwood so have spent a lot time trying to promote the game.
Pre-match the Charlton Upbeats play a special game at 12:45 and would love your support
Lyle Taylor will be present at the game meeting fans and we have also got a special family activity zone including face painters, football skills and other games
It would be good to see so many of you there at The Oakwood (VCD Athletic), Crayford, DA1 4DN on Sunday
The women's team desperately need some extra financial support ..... and need more people to come and watch them play:
Supporting Charlton Athletic Women will not benefit Roland Duchatelet
Charlton Athletic Women’s chairman Stephen King has spelled out that any fans who commit to buying season tickets for their games will be giving total financial backing just to their club.
King is hoping to boost the average attendances of the Women’s Championship side next season.
And King is clear that Roland Duchatelet, who owns the men’s club, makes zero financial gain from the ladies set-up.
King said: “If you can stump up the £40, or £25 if you’re an existing men’s season-ticket holder, even if you only expect to come to come to one, two or three of the games then you are helping us out and showing a bit of willing and support our way ........ (there's more on the website below).
Charlton Athletic Women are pleased to announce the start of their pre-season fixture list ahead of the 2019/20 season which will include a testimonial pre-season fixture for Kim Dixson.
Kim Dixson has been a vital part of the Charlton Athletic Women’s club leading by example as a player since she was nine years old. A special fixture will take place on Wednesday 31st July at The Oakwood, Crayford as our thanks to Kim for all her hard work.

which seems excellent value. There is an option to buy on CAFC ticketing website. However only at the full £40 rather than the reduced £25. Needs to be addressed

Up to 4th place, 3 points behind the leaders Man Utd. And we have a game in hand.
How are the woman's team allowed t up use the name and badge. Are there copyright issues?

Fantastic for the team. 'We want 8!'
Just like the men's team, they ease up late in the game.
