Pratley was a very lucky boy. That was an absolutely awful challenge and I would have sent him off.
We've had the better of the chances without looking that great. We've struggled to build through the midfield and we've lacked that little bit of composure and quality in the final third.
Cullen is going to be a really good addition. His set piece delivery has been excellent so far with the exception of Kightly running halfway to him to block his freekick which was ridiculous. We still look vulnerable on the counter, especially from set pieces. Southend look hardworking and hard-pressing but look like that also lack that bit of cutting edge, so if we show a bit more composure and take a chance I fancy us.
we just don't score anywhere near enough goals under Bowyer, we have some decent attacking players, so not sure what the problem is? Coaching? Mentality?

We actually created some good chances in the first half but I would largely argue that our problem under Bowyer has been consistently creating enough clear cut chances. it was the same under Robinson as well. We haven't had the most prolific strikers, more the types who need three or four chances to score, and when you only get one or two chances in a game, and even then if they're half chances, then you're just not going to score enough.
Bauer took a knock to the head. I'm not sure what happened, he may have taken a stray boot or knee when he fell down while clearing it. He received treatment on the pitch and it now looks like Sarr is going through his paces.

First change for Charlton. Bauer is off and Tariqe Fosu is on. Come on, T!

I suspect it's Bielik to CB. May go flat 4-4-2 with Fosu and either Karlan or Ajose out wide.
