Our team has more than half of players I’ve heard of , so we’ll win . I really don’t want to go to Wembley to watch that shit but will have to bluff it for the kids sake if it happens .
Charlton required to start at least 4 players who'd played in the previous 1st team fixture:
Marshall, Clarke, Fosu, Ajose, Reeeeeeco all made an appearance at Mansfield - so that ticks the box. Marshall played 95 minutes on Sunday, Ajose 75 mins.
These are players that 'need minutes' and match fitness.
It's always a risk to play those who played all or most of the game only 48 hours previously - tired muscles can risk injury. Can't imagine Marshall, Ajose and Clarke will play much more than 45 minutes.
Three players away on internationaL duty, and no doubt the nucleus of the first time will have been given a few days off, so they won't be involved. Bowyer will want them rested and time for minor niggles to clear up. Anyway, there's too many players in the treatment room already and he won't risk further injury to key players.
The rest of the team can be made up of Development squad players; after all it's Swansea U21 that we play.
Bowyer has picked a crap team. Fair enough, he's probably thinks the competition is a complete waste of time. So why on earth pick Fosu? Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't Fosu get injured in this tournament last year. Will be madness if the same happens again this year.

Checkertrade Trophy rules state at least 4 players must start, who'd made an appearance in the previous 1st team fixture - Fosu was one.
Fosu is regarded as needing match fitness, along with Marshall, Ajose, Clarke, Reeco.

BFG not even on bench for cameo
Swans u21 vs cafc u12s?
So they win on pens and we finish level if it goes to goal difference then we go through because of stevenage
Any other result (win in 90, win on pens, lose on pens) sends us through as group winners.
I can’t think of a situation in which we qualify in 2nd place. It’s either 1st or 3rd.
