From Kevin Nolan:
We received a phone call from Donald Hunt's daughter Sue and a follow-up e-mail from his son Peter, informing us that their dad Donald had died in Queen Elizabeth Hospital yesterday at the great old age of 99.
I wrote Donald up in the programme a year ago and I'm pretty sure his story has been told on Charlton Life. He was a D-Day veteran with the King's Own Scottish Borderers and being born in 1919, was possibly Charlton's oldest supporter. He was a quiet, dignified man impossible to dislike, always courteous and old-school. A committed Christian churchgoer, his funeral will be in Woolwich at the church he served for so long.
