Not sure - remember the 4-4 when Leaburn and the Pineapple brought us back from the dead after playing 80 minutes with ten men after Ooooh Sweaty Balmer got sent off for bringing down Darren Eadie - but can't remember if Bellamy played for them that day (he would have been young, maybe about 18?). I do remember one little shit trying to grab the ball off the keeper Petterson? Salmon? After they scored and having a row - sounds like the sort of thing Bellamy would have done...

Back in the dark ages, before loans became common and players tended to stay put more, I believe Gordon Bolland played against us for Leyton Orient, Norwich and Millwall as well as playing for us.
I reckon he's up there as a (say) pre 1990 candidate.

I recall seeing Luke Varney in a variety of shirts at the Valley, although tbh I don't know exactly which teams. He always seemed to be at about our level.
After leaving Charlton he played for Derby, Sheff Wed, Blackpool, Portsmouth, Leeds, Blackburn and Ipswich.
