We must start playing players in their actual position, fosu is a winger not a number 10, bielik is a CB not a CDM, then there is also Stevenson. Really don't want bowyer going to the Robbo route of square pegs in round holes just to fit your personal favourite formation. Tactical flexibility is just as important as tactical familiarity.
You may be right but we haven't got a no 10, CDM or LB fully fit!
Yep... so don't play a diamond formation where you require a number 10 and a CDM was my point. Play a flat 4-4-2.
Not a good half that. At the back we look weak. And, I believe it's the system they're playing. Too narrow so they have space on the flanks. They could have had 2 or 3. We seem to have reverted to our defensive frailties of a few games ago.
Going forward we were looking better as the half went on but we need to firm it up at the back.

We may need to play a different formation to get the best out of Fosu. He's different gravy stretching defences out wide and cutting inside.
Game started around 35mins for us... Definitely an opportunity still for us to get back into the game but we need to pass it around more like what weve been doing the last 10mins as lumping it forward is a walk in the park for Blackpool
Referee without doubt bottled the second yellow... Tilt without doubt knew what he was doing rather than it be an accidental foul which is why he shouldnt have gotten away with it... they've looked impressive though and can see why they're challenging for the Play-Offs
For Charlton I wouldnt say that many are playing well with Steer and Solly the two who havent really put a foot wrong, just a shame neither can influence the game from where they play - Stevenson hasnt done badly but isnt really able to get forward, be easier to see how he does come the second half as he'll be closest to the camera
Steer has made 2 or so outrageous saves, Lapslie nearly scored a lovely roulette and turn finish, Grant missing the sitter afterwards was poor. Their captain should be off, was a minimal yellow card offense and he was already on one, ref has bottled it. We looked slightly better last ten minutes so maybe there is a glimmer of hope we can take a point or hopefully more here. The first 20 minutes are inexcusable though, rested team and you would think they had just played their third game of the week how jaded they looked.
