  • Phillips - 8 made 2 fantastic saves
Solly - 7 barely put a foot wrong today but he is laboured in attack
    Bauer - 8 bossed it
Sarr - 7.5 couple of shakey moments but played well
Purrington - 7 bowyer described him well a 7/10 player
Bielik - 7.5 gritty player, wins back possession so well
    Pratley - 6.5 was ok
Cullen - 6.5 looked a tad rusty but kept us ticking
Williams - 7.5 first half best player, 2nd half a bit sloppy, but always tires to make things happen
Taylor - 7 never a red, should be overturned, but not at his best today whilst still looking threatening
Grant - 7.5 great pen under pressure and was an outlet all day
Reeves - 9 absolutely incredible substitute performance, lobbed the ball over about 5 players heads and won the pen, wasn’t on for long but was easily MOM for me
Ref - 5, ruled out the corner goal for nothing, but I assume he sent the players off with the linesman’s help, but standard league 1 dogshit ref

  • Phillips - 8 - excellent

Solly - 6.5 - solid if unspectacular. Crossing was rubbish.

    Bauer - 7.5 guvnor performance.

Sarr - 7 - bonus point for the throw in. Hilarious

Purrington - 5.5. Won,t judge him on his first appearance but I wasn’t very impressed today.

Bielik - 7.5 great player. Balls of steel.

Pratley - 6. Did ok but unbalanced the midfield

Cullen - 7 - rusty but good contribution. Good to have him back.

Williams - 7 - class player . Quiet at times

Taylor - 5 - regardless of the sending off I thought he was poor today. Wrong choices and poor execution.

Grant - 8 - in and out but his pace terrified them all game. Brilliant gutsy penalty. Point removed for booking for taking shirt off. This is moronic. They know it’s a booking but still do it.

Reeves - 8 - Changed the the game.

  • Phillips -8 two excellent saves
Solly - 7 proper old school
Bauer - 7 did his job
Sarr - 7.5 Naby the enforcer
Purrington - 7 solid and got forward better second half
Bielik - 7 patchy first half but much better second
    Pratley - 5 seemed a bit lost
Cullen - 7.5 controlled performance after a bit of a lay off, impressive fitness
Williams - 8 here, there and everywhere and shades of Johnny Robinson in his post match antics
Taylor - 7 causing them problems and don't think he should have been sent off for being kicked on the ground
Grant - 7.5 fairly quiet performance until the pressure penalty.
Reeves - 8.5 made all the difference in us pushing for the win
Ref - 3 - lost control which is dangerous - bottled it and didn't protect the lino after pen decision

  • Phillips - 7 a couple of smart saves in each half. Not much else to do.
Solly - 7 decent going forward as well as defending.
    Bauer - 7 Sharp.
    Sarr - 7 steady.
Purrington - 6 got caught out a couple of times on the ball. Passing wasn’t great.
Bielik - 7 Usual solid performance. Probably counting his cajones this morning.
Pratley - 6 Was a bit too cumbersome at times and slowed things down when we needed to get forward.
    Cullen - 6 Looked a little rusty.
Williams - 8 Slow to start but was everywhere.
Taylor - 7 right royal pain in the arse for the Accrington defence.
Grant - 8 Balls of steel to take the penalty after the amount of time it took from the decision to be given to actually taking the pen.
Reeves - 8.5 Turned the game for us. Accrington were tiring toward the end and his skill on the ball undid them.

  • Phillips - 8 Match winning saves.
Solly - 7.5 Had a good game. Realised he had to attack more in the 2nd half and did it well.
    Bauer - 7.5 Very steady.
Sarr - 7.5 Looked stronger in the air than he has done. Some of the long passes didn't come off but at least he tries them when not much else is on.
Purrington - 6.5 Hardly had any defending to do. Needs to be a bit more positive but did put over some good balls and had a decent header palmed away from Taylor.
Bielik - 7 Some very classes touches and carried the ball well.
Pratley - 6.5 Did ok and looked more confident than of late.
Cullen - 7.5 Kept us ticking and kept going to the end. Good to have him back.
Williams - 7.5 Hopefully he won't start his runs from too deep (that got us caught once yesterday). But very gifted player. Wonder if Bowyer can get some goals into his game?
Taylor - 6.5 Held the ball up well but wasted a couple of decent openings. He started with their 15 in the early minutes and it continued.
Grant - 7.5 Pretty bad miss when he failed to connect from a yard but redeemed himself late on.
Reeves - 9 His cameo took Accrington by surprise and they had no answer. He was everywhere.

  • Phillips - 8 save when it was going in too corner was exceptional, the double Dave scramble also good, can’t ask for more
    Solly - 6.5 decent game
Bauer - 7 very professional and competent as ever
Sarr - 7.5 looking like the player we thought we were getting when he signed. Very composed in the ball, can pass and is fucking massive presence for us at the back
    Purrington - 6 capable
Bielik - 7 good player and getting better with experience
    Pratley - 6 not a fan.
Cullen - 7 hadn’t remembered how tiny he is but he can certainly play
Williams - 7.5 wouldn’t have given him MOTM and haven’t but he does look very very handy. Distressing to see him after the game with a bag of ice on his knee but then better to speak to him after with his bottle of champagne still in hand and for him to say that it was a slight knock only and that he will be fine.
Taylor - 7 handful, wish he hadn’t so blatantly been in and on the back of their keeper for the disallowed goal that then led to his sending off
Grant - 7.5 great pen, needs a bit more composure to add to his speed
Reeves -I 7 this may be a bit unfair as he was actually really really good for the short time he was on the pitch but I struggle to rate a cameo as high as a full game

Solly - 8 extra for his bit in protecting the lino

    Williams - 7
    Taylor - 6.5
Grant - 8 xtra for his composure
Reeves - 8 won us the game
Ref - 3 lost control. Decision making was about average for the level we're in but really should have done more after the melee and them going for the lino
  • Phillips - 8
    Solly - 6.5
    Bauer - 7
    Sarr - 7
    Purrington - 6
Bielik - 8 +1 for steaming in to protect Taylor

    Taylor - 6.5
Grant - 7.5 +1 for the composure over the pen
    Reeves - 7.5. Great cameo
  • Phillips - 8 great save and distribution better
    Solly - 6.5 decent
    Bauer - 7 highly competitive
    Sarr - 8 class act
Purrington - 7 . They said we was getting a steady 7 out of 10 evry game player and thats true
Bielik - 7 a bit clumsy at times, but class mostly
Pratley - 7 he does try very hard
Williams - 7 started slow, sat to deep would prefer to see him a more natraul 442 than a diamond
Cullen -6 looked unfit to me not the right opposition for him to flourish
    Taylor - 8 consistent handful.
Grant - 7.5 great pen, hope he stays , think he will
Reevs 10 a bit ott giving a sub a 10 I know but it was a flawless cameo so why not.

  • Phillips - 8 - two top saves
Solly - 7 played well. tried getting down the wing more in the second half. which helped our attack.
    Bauer - 7.5
Sarr - 8 work harder on his passing and cross field long ball which he did far too many times poorly. other than that a great performance. loved the throw in.
Purrington - 6 struggled with no one in front of him to pass to. no real problems defensively.
Bielik - 7 very good in the middle
Pratley - 6.5 slow but steady.
Cullen - 7 tidy player. slow start similar to Williams but grew into the game.
Williams - 7 drove forward well. got better as the game went on.
Taylor - 7 harassed there defence. great at holding the ball up. that ginger bloke at full back for them was relieved when Taylor was sent off. the sending off itself looked harsh. a slight kick out possibly but no more than a yellow for him and goalkeeper. the man who should be sent off is their no 14 for the stamp on Taylors head. That and their no 3 for being a berk.
stupid by Taylor after being told by the ref to leave the goalkeeper alone but he still backed into him at the corner.
Grant - 7 stepped up in the second half and the pen was quality.
Reeves - 7.5 came on and was brilliant.
Ref - 2 piss poor management of the game. should of controlled the situation rather than let their players completely lose their heads.

  • Phillips - 8: two fine saves, the first of which was as good as a goal. This fine young keeper has earned a proper run in the side.
Solly - 6.5: solid and, like the rest of the team, improved in the second half.
Bauer - 7.5: commanding and authoritative throughout. Reads the game well and is excellent at stepping in front of the forward and winning the ball.
Sarr - 6.5: a few shaky moments defensively but was not unduly troubled by opponents short of creativity and attacking ideas. Naby's passing (his strongest suit) was uncharacteristically off in the first half but you have to love his throw in and antics at the end of the game. In a sometimes grey division, this guy really is an entertainer.
Purrington - 5.5: looked a little basic in possession but solid enough defensively. Perhaps he was a little nervous on his first home appearance, plus we didn't have many options down the left offensively.
    Bielik - 7: decent
    Pratley - 6: did ok
Cullen - 7.5: an excellent performance, given that he's been out for ten weeks. He is so good at knitting the play together and retaining possession.
Williams - 7: looked a threat and will give League 1 defences a lot of trouble.
Taylor - 6.5: a lovely cross in the first half and a couple of good efforts in the second, although below par by his exalted standards. Given that Lyle's reputation appears to proceed him with referees, maybe we should deploy Naby to do a 'Jack Charlton' at our corners - perhaps stopping short of treading on goalies' toes. I think the Nabster could prove a very disconcerting presence on the opposition's goal line.
Grant - 7: received limited service but had one very good effort towards the end and kept his nerve to put his penalty away with aplomb.
Reeves - 8.5: MoM - the game changer
Ref - 4: was too willing to blow up for free kicks and lost control at the end. At least he listened to the lino and got the penalty decision right.
