Good luck, Joe. So sad to lose him but he is clearly very fond of his time at CAFC and the people he worked with. Shame that RD is still in charge and we couldn't keep him, but look forward to seeing his career begin after Rangers, in The Premier League.

Got to be honest after watching all the media stuff with Joe and Rangers I have to say if I was Joe I would feel good about joining them. They seem to have gone all out on him, Gerrard clearly seems to like him, he got a bit of red carpet treatment. Compare that to us where we would have none of that and a useless owner wouldn't even bother to speak to him. Only bit that makes it sour grapes for me is how their fan base have acted about it. Good move, good lad, good team, good setup, good manager, delusional twatty fans.

I hope that in his first training session he goes over the top of the ball and snaps Defoe’s shins

After everything that happened with Bradley Lowery I don’t think I’ve ever changed opinion on a player as much as i did Defoe

I wonder if Gerrard insisted that he got his barnet cut

When you see the prices that other talented players have moved for recently, it is a fucking disgrace that Rangers get away with paying us in pennies. The loophole re 'moving out of England' needs un-fecking-looping .. (Excuse the language I am seriously niggled about this)

Fuck him, wish it had happened in his first West Ham training session
  • was wishing him well, then i saw him in another clubs kit and thought, sod him, was here a couple of years, left for a better offer.  Decent player but lost all interest in him!  The fickleness of a footy fan eh!

Why are you bothered? If he’d been sold for 4m do you think Bowyer would have seen any of it? I’m pleased he went for nothing, less money in Roland’s pocket.

Who cares, he has gone... Let's get behind the players who want to play for Charlton.... I read the same goodbye crap in our company from people who leave every week... Seldom are they missed as they are replaced usually by better people..

in many ways totally agree with this, yes abso gutted to have a player like Joe leave us so soon in his career,I also believe it's not the right move either but,it's done now & all is dusted...il follow his career till I get bored of it,sorry it does happen...🙄☹️ & my littleun will soon have other heroes (hopefully) to follow, just hoping the Roly merry go round stops soon,so we can all get off, become one as a club & the split between the custo...erm erm supporters can heal again...🙌,I do believe we will finish the right side of the dotted line, not cause of Douche, but with Bow in the driving seat along with Jacko & Gallen

    Onwards & Upwards...🙏

For every Aribo, there’s an Aneke. We lost our star after promotion, so did they. Annoying but it’s the circle of life in football xxx

In the photo, first glance, looks a bit like Aribo has signed for Portsmouth.

Somebody tell him quick ...... he's back playing in League One.

Seems that Rangers can turn him into a better player by facing the majority teams of a level we faced last season

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/48677574
What they will do is £5-12M for him in 1-2 years as a transfer fee. That's what galls me. It's been said he will make £20k/week there. The fact the signing seemed in limbo for so long, I wonder if even £15-17.5k/week would have kept him here. It would have been such a good move to secure him at any price, not just for the ability to keep us up, but because if he large embedded profit this time next year in doing so.
