Let's be fair, we had as many twats giving the V signs and abuse across the stewards as Oxford did.
Why does it make them twats?

    Nonsense, it’s a football match.
I’ve never understood this. Why does watching 11 blokes kick a ball around a pitch give fully grown men the license to act in a specific way?

It doesn’t happen at other sports so is football special or something? Does it attract a particular kind of person?

It attracts the sort of person who would never do it if there wasn't a line of stewards or a fence there.

J Block - by the time you are old enough to wear long trousers you'll understand.
  • What? Do you get cushions?

The seats might not have been broken maliously. It might been used by a rotund fuller figure fan.
I might wear glasses but I think I can tell a stamp when I see one. And I don't mean a small thing stuck on an envelope....
I think Smudge said that tongue in cheek 😉
I know. It had just been a long day. The journey there took me 3 hours and I missed our goal...

The seats were asking for it.

They called it on and got a slap.

I love the fact that some Oxford fans will read this and not know....

WTF goes through some people's minds.
    How is that acceptable behaviour?
So no one apart from you has commented on smashed seats.
Any chance of enlightening us ?

It comes to light that the two toothless bloaters mouthing off to our totally blamelees support were in fact the Chaplain and Dean of Corpus Christi college.

Some benches from Fratton Park were passing through on a train to Windscale for disposal and  block of seats from the Old Den  intercepted them....

If it was before the game and it was sold out for away fans , I would have said they were looking for spares.

I think the seats are better at MK Dons , no matter how great you think the ones at Oxford are

Agreed, nice and padded and much less chance of bruising your foot 😉.

    Made me smile that.
A quaint expression that went out of fashion years ago.
I had a smashing seat in the old West stand before we moved to Selhurst :)
