Never like the play offs (even after 98), as I feel after 40 odd games the best teams should go up, but I understand the reasons for them and keeping them.
this game is exactly why I am bricking Friday. Not too a dissimilar situation to us vs Doncaster. 3rd vs 6th, one team on paper better than the other, one team genuinely better than the other, but one moment of pure fluke and Leeds looked like shit for the last 5 mins or so, very erratic.
Second half will be interesting
Leeds though are the classic team who slumped to 3rd after finishing the season badly, and are down in confidence
By contrast we rose to 3rd in the last few minutes of the season and are brimming with confidence
tbh I think this post hits the nail on the head.
Mansfield had just 'bottled' autos by losing promotion on the last game of the season, Leeds genuinely imploded. Whereas we stormed the end, we were like the team that usually sneaks into 6th on a run except we finished 3rd.
Roll on Friday, games like this is what football is all about

Money and keeping the season alive for more teams.
Btw, is that the pace of the Championship now? The intensity levels in these games have been extreme.
gulp
Yup; scary isn't it!!
I remember when we went up under Powell with one of our first wins coming on a Tuesday night against Leicester (might have been our first home game) and even then was amazed by the difference of the intensity and the speed the game was played; Even now I dont know how we won that game 2-1, was just played a 100 mph, can imagine its only become even faster
A little bit of a wake up call to anyone who thinks it’s a forgone conclusion on Friday . Well done Derby
Donny have only scored 7 goals in 11 away games against top half teams. If they score four at the Valley on Friday night, I will get Marvin Sordell’s face tattooed on my arse.

Stay bloody calm people!!... Everyone starts shitting themselves if Doncaster go 1-0 up and it'll be sensed by the players
We've sold out the Valley, c'mon!!... We've got to be a 12th man for our own players not a hindrance
Hull, Huddersfield and now Sheffield United
