I hadn't realised Leeds' record in the playoffs was so awful

Leeds have now failed to win promotion from all FIVE play-offs:
    1987 Div 2 final: Lost 2-1 in a replay v Charlton
    2006 Champ final: Lost 3-0 v Watford
    2008 League 1 final: Lost 1-0 v Doncaster
    2009 League 1 semi-final: Lost 2-1 v Millwall
    2019 Champ semi-final: Lost 4-3 v Derby

Anyone else see the disturbing tweet from a guy claiming to be a Sunderland fan, taking a gun to Fratton Park tonight?

Think tonight’s game will be another tight one between these two, wouldn’t be surprised if it goes to extra time.

Yup, the longer they play, the better. Couple of red cards too please.

With the most deserved team winning

Cant be having a team that gets out played and sneaking through on a lucky penalty win as their confidence will go sky high, the deserved winners on the other hand might relax a bit too much for the Final

Red cards yes but i don't think the length of the game will matter too much, they have 10 days to recover before the final.

The longer they are on the field of play Chris the greater risk of picking up an injury. Not that i would wish that on a player so that he missed the final against us should we also get through  >:).

Lowe dropped by Pomoney. No sign of McGeady for Sunderland

Both sides lack that game changer

Maguire seems to be the main danger man for Sunderland. Pitman back for Pompey is an important addition.

Surely Cattermole is due another red card?

Both teams playing with no discipline.

Still need a Pompey equaliser though

Ideally both Charlton and Doncaster want this one to go to the full distance

It’s creating quite a good distraction from thinking too much about tomorrow
