You’ll have the extra tickets by the end of the day but there won’t be any more than that.
Looking forward to the two games, but if you get a decent lead in the first half and there’s a bit of rain, don’t expect us to show much interest in getting the water off the pitch!

Don't panic. Donny will give us the extra 800 tickets.
When? Last night when only a few left surely the "normal" thing would be to have the ready due to the likely outcome this morning. Add in the faulty ticket software (see above) and yet again let down. Even the "loyalty" system isn't that - its a "points for buying on Charlton site before the game" system. Can't even express how pssd off I am. So much elation and then the club (not players etc.) get involved....
Isn't a history of buying tickets a display of loyalty? I'm pretty critical of the club but I don't think they can be at fault here.
Yes the loyalty system is how it should be and works perfectly tickets should first go available to fans who have been to the most games this season, don’t really understand how people can complain about it.
I genuinely hate the way we gripe at each other, and yet no find myself having to explain myself to the detriment of other fans. The loyalty scheme DOES NOT reward points for attending games, it awards points for (from the official Charlton site), "providing they have purchased their tickets in advance using their Fan ID". As someone who regularly cannot commit to buying tickets for work reasons (and sometimes family reasons) I buy nearly all tickets on the day - especially away tickets. My last minute dash to Doncaster ironically being one of them this season. So I do not have the loyalty points I *should* have.
There is not a system in the world that could solve your issue, but that does not make the system wrong. Have you not got a friend who goes and could have got you a ticket?
Don't panic. Donny will give us the extra 800 tickets.

Ok then this is fair enough. However you are a pretty extreme circumstance as the majority of people have collected their loyalty points. The game shouldn’t just go on general sale because there’s a few people in your situation and thus see hundreds of people who have 300+ loyalty points miss out. I hope you get your donny ticket, best of luck

So unfortunately it's down to you then, it was your choice. Let's hope the extra 781 go on sale soon.
That is a very crass comment. His point about the "Loyalty" scheme is well made, although I suspect it's hard for the club to work it any other way unless they allowed you to turn up after an away game with the ticket you didn't buy via them and have it added to your points total.

Disappointed with away ticket sales so far, how many do you think you will bring

It's okay Donny. We have a benevolent and forward thinking football genius of an owner and a plethora of top level highly trained back office management... Ok, so that's bollox!
The best of British mate, but not too much in this case you understand?
My choice? Words cannot describe... Although I'm glad you can now see / admit that the loyalty scheme is not that, it is a "buying tickets through the website early scheme". Not the same thing at all.
My best guess for your next move will be: a) You don't post on here enough - wonder why? b) You're part of the RD team (had that before) c) You're not a real fan - had that before.
I vented annoyance and frustration at the system failing, and the scheme being flawed. Where did I do it - on a fans forum. May God strike me down.......
Why don't you start a new thread, "complaints for fans that can't prove they attended 10 games this season & at the moment haven't been able to secure an away ticket" ?
Hope Doncaster soon give Charlton permission to sell the 781 we already have, so everyone is sorted. Presumably they are seeing how their home sales are going for a couple of hours, as they would prefer to sell to their own fans in priority to ours.

Thats completely up to Doncaster... Out of Charlton's hands now
So Charlton couldn't have a) called Doncaster yesterday and said it looks like we need those extra seats you've already offered? then b) placed a note on the website etc. stating what would happen.... OR EVEN BETTER, simply added them to the sales list for this morning. Can't wait for the Wembley sale to go as smoothly as 98, or the away to Man Utd in FA Cup in early 90's (sorry can't be bothered to look up what year that was).

Historically, if you take your ticket stubs to the ticket office, they will update your points on the system and then you wouldn't be in this situation.

Yes you can turn up after and have it added. (well you always could in the past).
@AFKABartram - is that the actual Donny account then?!
Actually this does spread to a wider point, if there's a way to mark people out as "official" (or Mods/Admins etc, should that ever be necessary), would that be possible...

If it is genuine I think AFKA should give them a promote and copy Henry Irving in
