West Block R definitely sold out on Sunday. H is the only place left they can sell without incurring perhaps prohibitive stewarding costs for splitting the JS. If they sell those at £18, £3 of that is VAT leaving £7.50 for the FA and £7.50 to be split between the four teams so £1.875 for CAFC. Getting £1,875 for selling 1,000 tickets may not be financially viable.
The cost of stewarding comes out before the revenue split, so even if the cost of segregation was £5k you would cover it with 300 ticket sales at £20.
I presume the seats sold to Donny are not sit anywhere. This will aid identification if there is any trouble.
There would have to be some separation as normally used in the east and west stands. This reduces the number of seats that could be available.
Yes, there is always a sterile area. However there will be more empty seats if the stand isn’t segregated. I don’t think the identification of ticket holders is likely to be much of a consideration.
To be honest I’m not expecting this to happen. I think it would probably make Keohane’s head explode as he won’t have a clue what the issues are.

That's a bit mean, Rick - he will know full well what the issues are.
1. Make sure the beef patties are cooked through
2. Ensure sufficient buns are available (top and bottom)
3. Don't forget to take the cellophane off the cheese first.

Decrease the amount of chips per portion and cook them for a less time because not many people will come back anyway and so it’s better to make an extra tenner on the day serving 6 pieces of raw food than a decent bag of chips.
So these spare seats have or havent gone on sale yet?
How totally bizarre this whole thing has been.
The whole admin side of Charlton is bizarre, who runs it, who makes the major decisions? Whoever it is certainly gives the impression of not being able to organise a piss up in a brewery.
What's wrong with a massive chant of we want Rowland out after the final whistle, no distraction then, but will be lound and clear on TV. That this isn't going to go away!.

Yeah... I thought that. Would be a good loud clear message that this isn’t about results
I don't think the club have done too badly on selling the tickets. although it would be really good of they tried to segregate the Jimmy seed.. this wont happen though as airman says
Am I understanding this right, there is still a whole block in the West Lower (Block H) that they still haven’t opened up for sales yet (even though there is clear demand)?
what about West Upper Block R? Has that been put on sale and sold out already?

so 13,000 that haven't been there all season appear at 2 weeks notice and it isn't about results?
if we get to final 25,000 extra fans turn up.
Roland wont care as hes just trousered a load of extra doh
imo it doesn't make a difference to him as it is a one off game but if we get promotion can see a lot coming back.
unfortunately have missed both playoff games ( other halfs important bday and a pre booked holiday that a change of flights would of cost more than the trip itself ) saw some muppet on the facebook page saying that wembley tickets should be sold to those who attended the home or away game 1st, IF we do get there i wonder how they will do tickets presuming it would be more than 2 pp as its only 5 weekdays between friday and the final, we have a tough game to get through first but as the week goes on will get more confident.
They have 20 available in block A, 34 in B, 9 in C and 166 in D.
So the still have 229 available plus blocks E & F not so far on sale, just to fill the lower half of the Jimmy Seed stand. If they sell out those 229 it will be interesting to see if they start to sell the blocks behind A, B & C first, which means they are working on some blocks in the JS stand being available for Addicks.

Does anyone know whether this is right or not?
Pretty sure that's right. R seemed to be on sale at the weekend and is now sold out.

Would have to be well timed so its heard during the on the pitch player interviews
For the Championship / League One games the presenter and pundit appear to be in a studio which I guess isnt at the ground of said club so if we started that chant when they're back in the studio it wouldnt be heard

Firstly, I would say it is not just about money. Secondly, I don’t think that it is right to look at the cost in isolation, but in the total cost of putting the game on. Thirdly, the split is after expenses.
At the end of the day, the club would be hoping that a good performance could persuade some to come, so the more that come the better.
Just a pity the old twat still owns the club.
I'm not saying the financials should be the only consideration but I can see for Roland they would be. Of course, it's quite likely whoever's running the club on a day-to-day basis (anyone got any idea who that might actually be?) may decide these sort of things without actually contacting the Rat but just by working off a remit of 'do it as cheaply as possible'.
Regardless of what should be the desire to get fans in, you’ve got to admit it’s commercially bizarre as well. No tickets on offer for two days, you’ve sold out every cheap area available (bar Jimmy Seed), yet you have a prime block in your main stand at a higher price point not even put on sale yet.

Strange. Next Fans Forum will be enlightening
What you're seeing is the problem that is widely discussed inside the club, including on the football side, of having nobody at the top willing and available to take decisions.
Isn't the game an 'operation'? Don't we have a 'Chief Operations Officer' in Anthony Cojones? Does he do any actual work? God knows his sandwiches are inedible.

Truly bizarre.
As only six tweets were posted by the O/S
Jimmy Seed stand 2,185.
Happy?

Just 4 seats together in West Stand Block C at the moment.
Nothing available yet for West Stand Block R
I also dont think a Roland out sign and some anti-regime songs will cause a distraction. Get the banner back!
