His introduction was timed perfectly and his energy seemed to give the whole team a lift. I thought we were a lot better than them in the second half in general but lacked a bit of aggression going forward. Williams definitely provided that after he came on.
Changed the tempo of the game from stability to firing bullets, Darren Pratley done his job and the tactical change by Bowyer was so well timed to advance to the end result, just superb.
I'd be amazed if he doesn't sign a new deal (assuming Bowyer stays) it just works out perfectly for both parties
I think we'll be very lucky if he signs for us. Great player. They simply couldn't play him so had to foul him. Before he came on it was all about negating Taylor, but Williams just dragged them all across the pitch.
I’m expecting Williams, Bauer, Aribo all to leave. 50/50 on Cullen and Bielik coming back again. I think the agents for the first three will want them moving on. Having said that I do trust Bowyer and Gallen to pick us able replacements even if it is a shame we can’t keep the squad together. We’ll never be building year on year under Duchatelet. Fully expecting about ten new faces next season.
Jonny Williams has played 134 games in 8 seasons. That's an average of 17 matches a season. Jonny would be great to have at Cafc but not sure how the contract would pan out. Pay as you play ? Fantastic cameo yesterday but he is fragile and he is fouled so often. One of many issues to be sorted. Starting with Lee Bowyer.

Showed his quality, a big game player. I always said he can change a game and he did. Give him a new contract.
Made the difference.
THAT league?

Doesn't sound promising does it
Also depends on the wages he want.
