January - Doughty - Gone February - Williams - Potentially Gone. March - Amos - Still here now but contract will be up. April - Watson - Might just be back from injury May - Pratley - Still here now but contract will be up. June - Morgan - Still here July - Bowyer - Still here August - Maddison - Still here now but contract will be up & potentially gone. September - Vennings - Why is he in it? Still here now but contract will be up. October - Purrington - Still here. November - Washington - Still here. December - Gilbey - Still here.
I know Bauer scored the winner at Wembley but Williams played a huge part in our victory in the Play Off final. Sunderland shit themselves when he came on.
Thanks for the memories Jonny, good luck for the future.

Good luck Johnny. Thanks for the memories although they were fewer that they should have been all things considered. Being a lovely guy wasn’t quite enough. Flattered to deceive most of the time but I’ll remember you fondly. Hope it works out.

Absolutely spot on...Williams' arrival in The Final changed Everything - and sparked the Win, I'd be sure! Wishing him All the Very Best ahead - Champion Addicks Teamster!! You bet, many thanks for the great memories, Johnny!!
He was one of the main reasons we won at Wembley, when he was brought on the game turned in our favour. Best of luck JW, in my mind you'll always be welcome back at The Valley.
Always had the feeling (even when he joined) he would be better in the Championship than L1 which is probably how it panned out, having said that he turned the play-off final. Best of luck Jonny.
How can anyone say they are actually pleased to see Johnny leave.....he was a fantastic individual and worth his weight in gold in the dressing room and never gave a moments trouble to,anyone. I am really pretty sad to see him go as he did some good stuff for us and if nothing else his subs appearance at Wembley undoubtedly turned the game in our favour. Good luck Johnny and thanks for the good times.👏👏👏
Sad to see him go, clearly a talented footballer that I don't think we saw the best of, but by everyone who ever knew him or even just spoke to him, a top top lad, footballers are just like us, people, and he was a great person 1st and a footballer 2nd.
I've always liked him as a player, he had a great run at the start of last season and I've often defended him when he was accused of having no end product. However the fact that there's still such a big debate over whether he should be in the team says a lot.
I expect he'll have a good spell under Mick McCarthy but for me he's not the sort of player who will really push us forward. He can have a decent career being a squad player but I'll be surprised if he ever gets to the point where he's starting 30/40+ games a season. It wasn't a lack of effort but something is missing from his game for me, I think we'll see more effective wingers and attacking midfielders come in over the next few years as TS develops the club, allows Gallen to build a bigger scouting network etc.
I want us to build a squad for the long term full of players fit enough to play regularly. Players we're desperate to hold on to, and in some cases we will as the club will grow with them.
We might have replaced two players in Maddison and Williams with one in Jaiyesimi but there's enough games left for him to make a bigger impact than they did between them this season.
Good luck Johnny it isn't all about goals and assists he did his bit by getting us up the pitch, making players double up on him, winning countless free kicks. We'll always have Wembley

Ahem... 7:36 on the transfer thread...

You really crack me up. It is well needed in amongst the crap
When it comes off for him he can be one of the best players on the park.
Hope he stays fit and fulfils his potential, he seems like such a nice guy, he deserves it.

Genuinely hope he can do well for himself.

As with Lapslie good luck to him.
