Eiffel tower

Going late August and looking at 9pm.
Are the skip the line tickets worth it this will be the last thing we do that evening.
If I purchase the 25 euro tickets for the summit does that take us from the ground to the top or do we have to walk to the 2nd level
Thanks

In for a penny, in for a pound, if you’re in Paris and have got time, make sure you do the boat trip lasts an hour, looks fantastic late at night, with the buildings lit up.5

Taking the wife up the Eiffel?
Or is that after the romantic evening at the tower3 -
And if you see Alan McCormack up there stuffing his face tell him to F off.3

Spend the day emptying rubbish bin onto the streets and go up the Blackpool Tower, it'll look like Paris as long as you keep your back to the sea0

Slightly off topic I know, but i went to Paris with my wife a couple of years back and asked a Parisian chap I work with for a couple of tips, he then sent me a huge email with places for dinner and a walk to do... i have copied below in case you have time outside of the Eifel Tower. We did the walk and then ate at Phillipe Excoffier which was superb. If i ever go back i would like to try the Cafe Constant he recommends as it looks cool...
To have a (long) walk
Tour Eiffel (Eiffel tower): To go there you just need to cross the river Seine. The park, where the tour Eiffel is, is called “le Champ de Mars”. It is very nice to have a walk. If you want to access the Eiffel tower, it is better to buy your tickets online before to go there (English version of the website below). You can also have a look to the restaurants you can go in the tower.

If the weather is good, I will recommend you to go walk in the Champ de Mars until the Ecole Militaire(Military school – historic building place in the axe of the Trocadero and Eiffel Tower). On the Place de l’Ecole Militaire (you have a some Brasseries if you want to have a lunch / or drink a beer on a terrace).
I will then walk until Les Invalides. It is one of the most beautiful building/site in Paris. You can go inside and visit see the tomb of Napoleon (not sure your ancestors will appreciate!)
You can then walk along the Esplanade des Invalides until the Pont Alexandre III (bridge Alexander the 3rd), One of the most romantic bridge in Paris (your wife could appreciate to get a picture of both of you on the bridge with Les Invalides on the back.
If you want to avoid to spend your spare cash (i.e. avoid to go to the department stores, I would recommend you to visit the musée Rodin (Rodin museum). It where the sculptor used to live (the park is very nice and full of statues)

For a dinner (next to Ecole Militaire)
Essaouira (the Moroccan restaurant in trocadero) is nice, but I would recommend you to take a taxi/Uber and go to (10 minutes max), all the restaurants below are in the same neighbourhood.
Phillipe Excoffier: very famous chef. He used to be the chef of the US embassy in Paris and before this works in very nice Michelin stars restaurant. It is a bistro/local. 3 courses menu for euros 41 per person (it worth it). Nice selection of wine. There is also a gastronomique menu (5 courses for euros 65).
Le Violon d’Ingres: the chef is Christian Constant. The restaurant has one Michelin star (so a bit expansive). One of my favourite chef (very popular), same kind of personality than Michel Roux Jr.
English version of the restaurant’s website:

Café Constant: it is one of the annexes of le Violon d’Ingres (in the same street). This is a real bistro parisien (one of my favourite ones). You cannot book a table. Which means you have to go early and drink wines outside of the restaurant waiting a table becomes available!

Les Fables de La Fontaine: fish restaurant. One Michelin star.

We went up the Eiffel tower at 9.30pm and never bought fast tract tickets or lined up. We stepped straight off a boat after a lovey dinner cruising down the River Seine and decided to do the Tower on the spur of the moment.0

Thanks for the advice.
Booked for 9.30pm0 -
