Our wonderful leader probably lost all interest in a sale once we got promoted.Airman Brown said:
I believe they existed, based on information from an ex-director, but I’m not sure they were ever credible. Their longevity might be down to Murray.Cafc43v3r said:
Unlike some I have always believed they existed. Either an expression of interest of a "British person" that couldn't buy the club until something else was done, or a "buyer of last resort" who would take the liability on but carry the debt over.Airman Brown said:So the “British group” who have been around nearly as long as the Australians didn’t have the money. Just fancy that.
I wouldn't like to give names to either but do you think either/both are possible?
As for the Aussies, there are multiple sources who say that the cost of acquiring the club changed after Wembley, which they say is why a deal did not proceed. They contacted the ex-directors to try to cut a deal, having not done so before, which does suggest they were close.
Dalman was serious, as have others been. But they concluded that Duchatelet wasn’t.0 -

they do, need to click the second link though.I've asked before but will ask again - have the Fans Forum ever produced a set of their accounts? They have a Bank Account so I'm assuming they have funds to spend so what do they spend them on?

I know some goes on the hall of fame board and covering cost for POTY event.
Also the FF made a one off donation to the museum some years ago.0 -
Why it the price of a pint relevant to what other fans pay elsewhere? Chelsea were charging £25 for children tickets when we played them in the FA cup, didn't make it right though.0
