Bowyers contract runs out at the end of this season , he seems to be doing a reasonable job . Would now maybe the best time to get him to extend his contract. He appears to be an asset so having a longer contract would entitle us to compensation if a big club like Brentford came knocking on the door for him.
Way too sensible a suggestion oohaah......you should know by now that unless it’s him who gets an idea anyone else’s is quite simply meaningless waffle as far as he’s concerned.
Would it be deemed illegal to curl one out on his doorstep? Asking for a friend.
Not if you concealed it in a paper bag. You could then light the blue touch paper, ring the doorbell and run away. Old yellow tooth would answer the door and his first reaction would be to stamp on it. Just imagine how difficult it would be, cleaning shit off of duck tape.

The Senate is the "Upper House" of the Federal Parliament of Belgium. I may be incorrect in my assumption that this was an elected position, but according to Wiki the 2014 elections were the first ones without direct elections of senators. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Senate_(Belgium)
He was later a member of Sint-Truiden local council.
Has anyone ever seen Senator Palpatine and Roland Duchatelet in the same room ?
I think everyone is feeling confused at the moment. When we thought Taylor was going we were all back up for the fight. Now, it would seem, Duchatalet stopped `Taylor going and has backed `Bowyer. Will he back Bowyer again in January and give us a shot at top 6? Will he start to put his hand in his pocket at long last and try for the promised land ? If so, would we cut him some slack? My opinion softened when someone told me Dijisteel went because Bowyer doesn’t rate him. Not sure if this is true or not.

Win at Barnsley and I will be even more confused.
Not sure Bowyer didn't rate Dijksteel - more that he saw the opportunity to get agreement with RD to bring in some cash which he could use to strengthen more widely - a bit like Powell building the previous L1 winning squad with the Jenkinson money.
The one overriding fact is that the bloke just CANNOT BE TRUSTED, not now, not ever, and that is why CARD must remain permanently in his face, (though I agree maybe at varying degrees of activity according to the current situation) and that means even when things are going well on the pitch.....just let him know we will always be there to counter his next spiteful action......which unfortunately from previous experience, we have learned is never far away.
I genuinely wrote this yesterday, I thought I posted it but obviously I hadn’t and have only just found it sitting in the comments pending on this thread......... . *******We must be due a rant, with the last one just before the playoff final and the one before that before the semis. Once again we had a few weeks where it’s been about Lee and his team performing against expectations he won’t like that. No one is talking about him, I’ve a family size bag of popcorn on standby. 😀
1. After protesters flew to Belgium, which led to the Aussies shortly thereafter
2. When one of his "structures" caught fire, which led to Dalman, shortly thereafter.
He
seems to only move in response to "direct action." So the fact this
upsets him is.... good. A happy Roland is not in fan's interests.
So, are you saying that if there is another protest we can expect to shortly thereafter see another ‘buyer’ that won’t actually buy the club announced ?
We won 1-0 today and was unlucky not to have done the same on Wednesday. 3wins/5 games. No defeats yet....and we won promotion via the playoffs and have the most condensed budget in the league
We all should be really happy....without having to worry about or be concerned with the ownership of the football club.

So you're not at all concerned that Lyle Taylor could leave in January and that our highly rated manager is on such a ridiculous contract ?
By all means enjoy where we are at this moment in time, but don't be under any illusion that under the stewardship of the Rat, NOTHING is guaranteed and pretty much anything at our club could change for the worst tomorrow.
@Dave2l , of course we all SHOULD be really happy....WITHOUT having to worry about or be concerned with the ownership of the football club. And there is at every football club a corps of fans who have no interest whatsoever in club "politics", who will fit your description completely.
Until key players are sold without adequate replacements, let alone superior ones who will improve the squad. Until the team starts losing more than winning or drawing. Until relegation looms.
And then they start shouting, asking what has happened to the organised protests, which they demand someone else will organise NOW if not SOONER, and why wasn't it done YESTERDAY?
Fortunately for the long term health of the club, our fanbase also includes some selfless people who - even in the good times when we are winning - are still concerned about the shaky foundations underpinning recent successes.
Yes, they are really happy about the start we have made to this season, but that does not remove their concern about the owner, nor their wish to find ways to encourage him to work SERIOUSLY towards a sale.

I maybe should have been more clear.
I'm saddened by the fact that even though we are doing well on the field of play....our poor ownership still sits their and haunts us. We can't get away from it.
I wasn't being sarcastic about the VOTV written piece.
I thought it was informative and I appreciate the historical hardworking support of our fanbase
I just wish things were only mostly about the football and I hate Roland.
Comments
believe it's a one year rolling contract so as of today it has a year to run

Beatles to split up!

Wasn't really sure where else to put this. I does sound very familiar though.
the takeover thread could do with a boost...

If Airman ever gets round to writing a book about the last few years it is going to be great reading.
Well written
And blunt to the point.
Well done Rick.
It would be great if this could reach a wider audience?
A good informative read.

An unstable owner who cannot be trusted for sure.
(Does he even know we won?)

Bowyer is doing a phenomenal job.
