Head of Recruitment Steve Gallen said: “Sam’s a good football player. He’s got a very good left foot, a good physique, he’s tall, quite elegant, athletic, he can play, he’s been at a very good club since he was a kid so I think everyone will recognise he’s a good player.”

Replace the name Sam with Krystian and there's your 2018-19 equivalent.

I just hope that Sam's nuts are made of steel given the strife Bielik had last season.

Worst pun ever, now non-plussed on this signing.

Should have been Playing the Field...

so predictable that CAFC twitter used "playing the field".

Bowyer: “He’s a very good player with Premier League experience. He’s young, wants to learn and he works hard. He knows what is expected coming here, I’ve told him that we’ll improve him. I’m looking forward to working with him. He seems a really nice lad and he wants to learn.”

Isn't this a mandatory clause in loan agreements these days? Protecting the integrity of the competition and all that.

A really good player, a lot of WBA fans wish he was in their first team. Can get box to box, score goals.

Slaven Bilic played for Wet Spam in 1996-1997 and managed the Hamsters 2015-2017.

Lord Bowyer played for them in 2003 and 2006-2009.
  • no mention of season long?

The connection is Luke Dowling. He was at Watford a few years ago. I am guessing at the same time Bowyer was.
  • This ones a bit left field if i'm being honest, he looks a bit green behind the ears.
  • The team is starting to look good, as thing stand.

    Phillips
    Solly
    Lockyer
    Sarr/Pearce
    Purrington
    Field
    Williams
    Cullen
    Aneke
    Taylor
    Leko
