Genuine TV Licence emails always include the last 3 characters of your postcode. Had some very convincing scam TV Licence emails which always miss that bit off.

When did a UK Gov use the MM/DD/YEAR system, also says you can claim bonus points, plus there are no phone numbers.

What's the email address it was sent from, usually another giveaway?

These emails aren't really meant to fool anyone! They are just harvesting emails from people who might be stupid enough to click through to something to find out what's going on.
