  • The pitch is a bit iffy.
  • Nice pressing from Casey to force an error that put Mbick in, but Eubank in their defence recovered well.
  • Good work from Brown to keep the ball in, beat his man and win the free kick near the RH corner
  • Great work from Enslin on the break, although the defender did well to win a goal kick off him.
  • Nearly.
  • Ooh! Wales shoots just wide, after Casey picked up a dodgy clearance.
  • Our attack is getting into the Birmingham defenders heads at the moment.
  • Ooh! We have a shot cleared off the line, after a good spell of pressure.
  • Oh, would expect Casey to score there.  No power behind shot and cleared off the line.

Need to score when on top.
  • Bah 1-0 Birmingham

  • Route one.
shame we fall behind 1-0 to Birmingham.
  • 1 - 0  Totally against the run of play but punished for not taking our chances.
  • First team defending there. Sign them up.
  • Typical. All the ball, give away a stupid goal.
  • Typical. All the ball, give away a stupid goal.
We’re getting consistency throughout the club which is what you look for.
  • How the fuck are we losing this? Plus the ref is shit?
  • I think the first corner of the game is coming up.
    For Birmingham
  • The big bloke is number 25
  • I think Casey has been offside 4 times already
  • Nice save by their keeper from Casey

  • Casey shot decent save.
  • I forgot just how much I hate the Brummie accent until now
  • Enslin shoots wide from a sharp angle and quite a way out, when perhaps he sould've passed to Mbick
  • Good save from us there.
  • Looks like our keeper tipped the ball over there?
  • Mbick has a shot tipped round the post.
  • Has the ref's watch stopped?
  • Half time Birmingham 1-0 up
  • To me Brum look a lot more street wise. Already wasting time and strong at the back. Going to be hard to  break down
  • We opened them up a few times in that first half but neither the final ball nor the finish have been there and Birmingham have started to look more solid and confident at the back. We also really do need to cut down on the offsides and, more generally, retain our composure.

A very soft goal conceded in the opposition's first real attack and naturally that's given Birmingham a lift. Hopefully Pearcey and his coaches can get the lads going in the second half. If we can equalise, I fancy us to go on and win it.
