Mendonca. Nothing fancy, just seemed to understand the basic premise that if you hit the target and put it where the keeper can't get to it, you will score.

Di Canio was probably the first time I’d ever seen a player score a penalty in centre of the goal.

Reidy, Sir Clive and Bob Curtis were very good but I don’t think a keeper even sniffed any of Buyens spot kicks.......I still chuckle at Di Canios one v Arsenal, Lehman hurling himself into the corner while the ball dropped in the middle of the goal, priceless.

What made it better was Lehman was absolutely livid with the penalty award, he felt Di Canios had dived. I think he might of.
