We need to get him fit and work out how to get the best out of him Williams: 7.5 - a very good cameo. His ability to run with the ball, draw defenders in and create space for others gave us some hope of an equaliser
Referee: 4 - pretty poor, although not the easiest game to referee
Phillips: 7.5 Two very good saves and generally commanding. No chance with the goal as totally exposed. I gave MOM to Gallagher but Dillon and Williams pushed him all the way.
Solly: 7 Typical Solly performance. Shame Camp saved his shot!

Pearce: 7 As Lockyer. I don't think passing from the back is his game but his defensive qualities are unquestioned so far.
Purrington: 6.5 At fault in the general loss of concentration for their goal so loses .5. Otherwise his usual consistent self.
Cullen: 6.5 Did what he does but looked a little jaded to me. Hopefully an isolated off day by his own high standards.
Leko: 7 Worked hard but nothing quite came off. I like him and hopefully he will become more effective as he develops more nous with a combination of matches and coaching.
Gallagher: 7.5 Love him. A loan player yet gives everything. Unlucky Camp was on form. Still learning so exposed at times but as good as most yesterday. Narrowly gets my MOM from Williams and Phillips.
Field: 6.5 Does the dirty stuff. A block in the first or second minute comes to mind. Loses .5 for his part in their goal.
