    Is Amos injured?

Looks like 4-4-2 diamond, meaning JFC at left back rather than LWB.

    Kayal’s first start.

Interesting to see Josh Davison on the bench.

Pearce, Oshilaja, Field and Kayal all start.

Solly, Sarr, Williams and Pratley drop out of the eleven.

Anyone know much about Davison? I know we signed him a few days ago but I thought the assumption was he would link up with the U23s...

Doesn't bode well for him if Davison has been picked ahead of him.

Oztumer and Aneke to come off the bench and do damage.

Have only seen a little of Davison. He looks like a proper number 9.

Hemed has a slight niggle, his Instagram story had him sitting on the treatment table...

@ForeverAddickted good shout with JFC left back in a 4 (at least it appears that way).

Here's what the OS has to say:

Charlton boss Lee Boywer has made three changes to the side that triumphed 3-0 over Derby County at the weekend for tonight's trip to Ashton Gate to take on Bristol City.

Details on where you can watch and listen to today's game live on Valley Pass can be found here.

Bowyer has recalled defender Jason Pearce, midfielders Beram Kayal and Sam Field, and defender Deji Oshilaja back into the starting eleven.

Kayal came on for the final 12 minutes in the Addicks' home win over the Rams following his return from injury, while Field replaced Jonny Williams midway through the first half. Bowyer has given them both the green light to start for this evening's clash under the lights in the West Country.

Elsewhere, U23s Josh Davison has been handed a spot on the bench with Tomer Hemed withdrawing from the squad with a niggle.

Also on the Bench, Ben Amos is replaced by Ashley Maynard Brewer and Chuks Aneke are back in the side.

Charlton: Phillips, Oshilaja, Lockyer, Pearce (C), Forster-Caskey, Gallagher, Leko, Bonne, Kayal, Cullen, Field

Substitutes: Maynard-Brewer, Aneke, Pratley, Solly, Sarr, Oztumer, Davison

  • Looking forward to seeing what Kayal can bring to the table.

JFC as left back will be interesting. What is Bristol Cities RM like?

Davison signs from Enfield last week, now on the bench, must be fantastic for him.

Greetings from a very windy, wet and soggy Marseille.
Thunder and lightning, very very frightening ......

Guaranteed to score the winner tonight or against West Brom

Bowyer isnt just going to stick any old player on the bench either so will be there on merit ahead of other U23s

Excited to see Kayal, played some delightful passes on Saturday

They played their last game with wing backs. Jack Hunt was the right wing back that day. He’s not in the line up tonight though.

Would have thought that Field replaces Pratley in a back 5.

They may go back to the formation they played with against Reading at home.

Niclas Eliasson RM, Pedro Pereira RB.

If you ignore the Luton game altogether, the only change from Reading to tonight is Semenyo in for Diedhiou.

Not sure Field has the same level of nous to be able to pull that off...

Hemed proving to be an utter waste of space.
