Only played 8 games for QPR in the league

None of the last 5(all flash score show) were over 25 minutes

    Underwhelmed by the one
  • Another welsh national
  • Considering how leaky QPR have been this season, slightly concerning how few games he's played. He did do well last season though
  • 34 games last season in the Dutch top flight. Can’t be too bad.

Hopefully Bowyer can do the same with him as with Gallagher.
Oh please, the usual obsession with other clubs youth player being better nonsense, he could not even get in QPR’s side! Another waste when Charlton should be doing something with their kids not Man City’s

Good job we targeted the January window as we would have no one in at the moment
  • Saving the best for last?

Better player than people probably think right now. They like him at City.

This is still a decent move. Box to box midfielder.

    Plenty of crosses lads.
    Not our strong point.

Or you could actually wait and see how he does first?

Don’t know anything about him really so feel confident in the Charlton recruitment team.

My only slight disappointment about this signing is that I think that puts the Chirivella link to bed.

Obsession? What you on about ya freak
  • Played 8 games for QPR only 2 starts
Great news , he'll be fresh and chomping at the bit , what a signing , safety guaranteed , well worth the wait,  we could easily have been robbed of him if we had showed our hand too early in the window , done well to secure his signing what with the auction for his services taking place , great work Mr Chairman .
Bowyer and Gallen will be buzzing with this one in the bag

On the other side... If Cawley is right in what he says (about there being one more) then this last player will be a permanent signing

Smith signing means anymore loans will see one missing out and dont think Bowyer wants to do that

Aren't you the one who had a tantrum when we signed Conor Gallagher because you didn't think he was any good and Albie Morgan is better? And reckoned loans should be scrapped? Yeah, I think your opinion on this might be discredited

  • Very highly rated at City. Could be a good signing. Announcement in the next 5-10 minutes apparently.
  • Battle of the Matt Smiths when we play Millwall
I fear I already know the winner of that particular contest.

Do come off it. No-one can sensibly argue that Charlton fail to give youngsters their shot in the first team.

this has all the hallmarks of turning into another damp squib ...

Given that I’d never heard of Conor Gallagher before he joined us I certainly won’t judge Matt Smith before I see him...he’s not a Man City player for nothing !

in SG and LB we trust!
