The future of football sounding more closely related to American franchise and of course making sure they can tap into that vast market. With so many Americans involved in the premiership they want more power for the top clubs and the brand value that they have. I think they're determined to bring about a breakaway closed league.
I so hope Birmingham fail purely cos of this dickhead running them. They are starting to lose money at an alarming rate and if they don't go up within the next couple of seasons I can't see how it can sustain.
PL payments to the pyramid surely benefit the overall standard of football in England (including refereeing, sports science, talent development, etc), which ultimately benefits the PL.
Obviously these come very, very low down in his priorities, if at all.2 -
Epitomises everything that’s currently wrong with football.3

A lot of Americans dislike competition- sadly a lot of football supporters now don't care about the pyramid.1

Trickle-down football economics, lovely.
The Prem is already the richest league in the world. If that idea worked, there wouldn't be any problems.
Oh no, no... It has to be even richer.7 -
There are a few reasons but, for that interview alone, I really hope Birmingham fall flat on their faces! Knob!!7

Birmingham aren't and never have been a top club, they think they are but all they really are are a poor distant second in a two team city. I guess he thinks that the Manchester City's and Liverpool's of this world need protection at all costs from the likes of Birmingham City. Utter dickhead who doesn't get the game one bit.1
