    Anybody with one adult spare?
Yep, got one spare ticket for the NWQ, block C if anyone wants it.
  • Got one adult spare. West Lower.
  • @Addickted could I take this please?
  • I have one for family stand if anyone is interested. I get to the ground at about 2:35.
  • I have a spare for NW block D. The new missus was coming but got rat arsed last as is at home feeling sorry for herself
  • Just bought tickets for me and my old man.

Not one of my "mates" offered me a free ticket. Thanks chaps.
  • I dont reckon the actual in the ground take up of the free tickets will be that high judging by social media.

Pretty good considering how empty the away end was.
  • Many thanks to @Addickted for the ticket today! Love the generosity of our fan base with all the tickets being offered out

    Not really.

We have 10k season ticket holders so we should easily have shifted 10k more, aside from any tickets paid for.  Plus the 1200 Barnsley 'sold'.

Attendance against west Brom was 19720 including 3000 away fans, so that's a improvement of around 1700 new/extra home fans for the free tickets offer, as youd expect a fair few that got free tickets would probably attend anyway.

It was Charlton v Barnsley in a Championship relegation scrap. Ticket give away went better than I thought it would.

If it had been Charlton v Barnsley in a Premier League relegation scrap, then we might have hit the 10,000 but even then, I'm not so sure.
  • Barnsley had 1,083 so 18,787 in home areas.  Not too shabby at all.

I think the Blackburn crowd will be higher than yesterday's.

I take it you meant 20,000?
If it was a Premier League match then I'm positive that the attendance would exceed 20,000, as our lowest attendance in 2006/7 was 23,423 against Blackburn on a Tuesday evening.

Don’t forget only Adult season tickets qualified for a free ticket, not sure what the current split is.

I was referring to the suggestion that we ought to have shifted 10,000 free tickets for yesterdays game.

    **********

Charlton fans cannot have many mates!
  • Thought it was a success- lots of newbies around us - good weather for Feb, decent game with decent atmosphere and we won.

     Hopefully they will return....

Ps. Pissed off I couldn’t get a pint at half time though !
