I am over the bloody moon with that first half!!! Davison is playing his socks off, Green is gonna cause defenses havoc, Deji as strong as an ox.

We have the quality on the bench to give this a go!
  • Watching that short video I wondered why Lockyer got booked.

Like watching Mick McManus v Les Kellett there...
  • Very entertaining half of Football round... Both Charlton and West Brom making it good value, just a shame about the referee who hasnt gotten much better since Reading

Andre Green certainly showing a football brain whilst its been embarrassing the way Josh Davison has bullied their Centre-Backs, comparing their stature it just shouldnt be happening!!

Oshilaja by far our best defender today - Lockyer making a rare mistake whilst Sarr is doing well with the ball at his feet yet being terrorised a bit by them when the ball is on the ground

I smell a red card for wba in second half
They seem really wound up. Might be that they're getting outfought by the Charlton youth team and a 34 year old.

Proud of the boys for that first half. Got some good subs available for the second as well.
  • Just as well the team has faith and don't give up when going a goal down, unlike some of our fans. So quick to moan and slag off players, when they need support.

Based on the clip, not sure why Lockyer got booked there.
Lockyer could have easily got up, bit of a weird one..

I have to say, at full speed I wasn't sure how much Davison knew about that, but on slow mo it's definitely a well directed header. (Hi guys, thanks for the updates so far)
  • Dempsey as well isnt shaming himself - Looked awed first half in Swansea yet grew into that game, seems to have carried on with that approach

Not doing anything special but doesnt need to

Stoke v Millwall...........who do we want to win..........seriously?
  • Like watching Mick McManus v Les Kellett there...
Half time sub: Ben Dempsey replaced by Kendo Nagasaki.
  • All in all we are once again competing. Still, we must be the only team in the history of football when having our own throw in is a negative thing.

Great effort in 1st 45. Keeping them relatively quiet even though you can see theyre class. Gallagher could have scored early on and Green doing ok. Really glad for Davison. Welsh guys fighting is weird. Bet Giggsy will love that. Now if only we can keep it tight then with Williams and Hemed we might get a point...

Agree. Far steadier than he had been.

Poor from Bowyer there, I would rather Roller Ball Rocco to be honest.

Lockyer held in a head lock initially, after that it seemed to get a bit intimate.

Decent first half. Just need to stay in the game with 20 to go and get Williams and Hemed on

Is Pratley banned for two games now? That will be rough, he's practically holding this midfield together.

Only if he gets a yellow card as he is on 9 at the moment

Thought he got booked. Just checked and he didn't. Nice.

From the BetVictor Isthmian League to @SkyBetChamp in just a few short months... @Joshdavisonn is off the mark! #cafc

  • That's been a good half of football.

Our lovely combination of youth and experience (some kids from the U23s and an old codger in Pratley) have certainly taken the game to West Brom and fully deserve to go in level.

To be fair the Baggies haven't created too many clear-cut opportunities and the one they scored from was down to us gifting them the ball combined with a large stroke of luck in the ball rebounding back to them from Deji's initial block.

Up front Davison has been awesome, being a real handful for West Brom's centre-backs and he finally got his just rewards with his goal. Bloody well taken it was too after a beautiful cushioned header down from the Enforcer, BeckenSarr.

In midfield Pratley has been mischief maker in chief. He's been winding up the Baggies, drawing foul after innocuos foul, and if any of them get a red card in the second half then Pratters deserves an assist!

Looking forward to the garden gnome getting 20-25 minutes this half in his return from injury.

One request lads: try not to concede in the first 45 seconds of the second half please? There's good chaps!

Come on you rip-roaring, goal-scoring Addicks!
