Would of. Could of. Instead of would’ve or could have etc. Although I suppose that’s just illiterate grammar rather than an annoying phrase.
  • “bet you’re fun at parties”....

    Fuck off

    Maybe - but still annoying.
  • "From the get go." WTF.?
  • My bad makes my blood boil.  Literally.

People who say literally when they obvs don't mean literally.

People who say obvs, particularly when they're olders.

Olders who try get down with the kids.

    I could go on ...

I reckon most of these stupid phrase originated in the good old US ofA.
  • I also hate the term “reach out” used by my US colleagues.

They also often ask me “what’s the delta”?!???

I wish I stopped saying "Coolio" as a reply to just about anything anyone says to me at work. What I really mean is "go away, I'm not listening"
  • "I love you".

    What do you want?

    ‘I’m quite woke’
    and
    ‘Bed wetting’
  • Not necessarily phrases but mine include...
    Let's unpick the data.'
    'It is what it is.'
    Opening a sentence with 'Myself...'
Ian Wright saying 'ee' instead of 'he' and also saying 'We was...'
    'Lol'
'I'm good!' when asked, 'How are you?'
'Give it up for...' when an audience are invited to show their appreciation for a guest.

People calling a colleague an “absolute legend”
  • Most of these vulgarisms are brought into our language by the bloody Americans of course.

Exhibit A: I am super excited.

    Exhibit B: Can I get?

Exhibit C: Gratuitous use of the word "totally"

People trying to make themselves seem more important at work by adding the words "strategy" or "strategic" to what they do. The vast bulk of what most people do isn't strategic at all, it's bog standard, humdrum, business as usual.  Stop trying to dress everything up.
  • "Cheap as chips"

Last time I went to a fish and chip shop it was bloody expensive!
  • On reflection - and I am deadly serious here - I heard an American broadcaster describe NFL coach Vince Lombardi as, and I kid you not, the "most winningest NFL coach of all time."
