Scott Parker: "Charlton full of heart, desire, character and passion. You have to match that. You can't build your foundations on your talent - in past got beat on opposition working. We matched them toe to toe."
Parker is getting pelters from the Fulham fans on twitter. Odd bunch that lot.

We had 32% possession today. Fulham away we had 30% possession.
Yet we've both ended up with 2 points from the games. Just shows it really isn’t always about having plenty of the ball.
Fulham can certainly pass. They passed and passed and passed without ever really getting anywhere. Might have been a different story if any of their strikers were fit. I think we had a bit of injury list luck go our way tonight.
It's been a good day in a Charlton life. Well pleased with that performance. Replay showed it wasn't a pen on Hemed, he was looking for it. But I thought he put in a shift, again.
I agree Cullen is more valuable than Gallagher to us overall, but he's still a huge loss. Check the goalscoring records of Cullen, Williams, and Pratley, and you'll see why. I still want to track down Conor's agent and report him to HMRC for tax evasion. Or just send some Ukrainians over to neutralise him :-)
Tonight shows we don’t need that many players in if we can keep the core players fit, 1 striker, 1 centre mid and a winger would be ideal
Would prefer 2 midfielders. An attacking one like Maddison who could double as a winger and an out and out CM.
Would still like a CB too.
I have a sentimental attachment to both Sarr and Pearce for different reasons, and they have both had good games this season, but they also both look like an accident waiting to happen some of the time. I think a left sided central back to partner Lockyer should be a higher priority, if we can get one. If we can get Maddison he should add goals to the midfield, something only Oztumer, of our current crop, really has on his resume and he is yet to score for us. Another box-to box midfielder who knows how to defend would be what I'd prioritize over a striker, but if we can get a fourth striker that'd certainly be nice to have. Hemed battled away better than he has before, but the jury is still out on him.

Yeah an assessment I agree with. I would spend money on a decent CB and midfielder who scores goals, hopefully Maddison.
Would be happy with a CM like Docherty on loan and a striker on loan to provide another option.
Wouldn’t cost us bundles and should keep us in good stead.
Bloody awful set play deliveries. Not sure about Oztumer, don't think he's Championship quality. Thank Gawd Cullen is back and he played 90 minutes, awesome. Good to see JW and LT back too. By Barnsley they should be fitter and ready to start. Need to tie Doughty down now to a long term contract, what prospect. All in all a good point and a clean sheet. Happy days. Against the top three, four draws and a win. Not bad.
But a pairing of either of them together is a bit of a recipe for disaster. However, Either one of them playing alongside a clever, cultured centre half would be perfect
Two men who both came through our ranks faced each other today. Although the result was a draw Bowyer comprehensively out managed Parker. For example Caveleiro cost 15 million, Bowyer could build fifteen competitive teams for that kind of money. Lots of goodies today with the Bowyer contract being the best of it, I mean look at the tune he got out of those players, that squad, yet again. Then we have a clean sheet, then we have Cullen getting through 90, then we get a precious point as well. Two weird things today, Oztumer turning into Cebellos at that corner, and the Fulham fans streaming out before the end. Wankerish behaviour in a close match. Still, they're from over there aren't they...Wales or wherever.
That felt better tonight. More cohesive and I echo what most are saying, Cullen made the difference even though he's not 100%. Williams and Taylor gave us a lift. I thought we could have nicked it at the end. Just lacked that bit of quality. Think we will be fine and hope we can get to mid table. Do need to start picking up 3 points though. I know we want some new faces in but if we keep Taylor and were able to sign Cullen then with others coming back I will be happy. Need a central defender and left back though so let's wait and see.
Good result - looked a different team once Williams and Taylor came on. Oztumer and Morgan both offered little and Pearce looked a bit shaky. Purrington did well and was pretty solid.
Fulham overplayed everything - once put under pressure by Taylor they looked vulnerable. They had little end product.
I can’t remember one decent corner, throw in or free kick. Dillon Phillips kicking is some of the worst I have seen from a Charlton keeper and I clearly remember the days of Kiely. We got into some great positions particularly through Doughty and wasted all of them. Apart from the regulation saves neither keeper looked troubled. Saying all that we managed to match them up where it counted and it was all about our defending. Glad to see Cullen back and Alfie Doughty made everyone look like they were running in treacle.

Well, about time ....... when you consider how we've been blighted by injuries since Taylor came back from his Montserrat match in September. Then it got steadily and unbelievably worse, with up to 15 players on the injury at one point.
No other team in the division has had to suffer an injury crisis like it.
Now we've got a few key players starting to come back, but they're not match fit yet - plus those still injured. And we lost Gallagher, who we haven't replaced yet.
Sorry, I can't feel sorry for Fulham missing a few players tonight.
Disappointed with the way we went about the game, wasted a lot of time and towards the end seemed to settle for a point. What do they do in training with regards to corners, free kicks and throw ins?
Was pleased to see that they were keen to get the ball forward from defence, rather than pass after pass and then giving the ball away and inviting pressure all the time. Much better👍
How many times have I said that the reason our defense has looked vulnerable is that we've had no midfield to either protect, recycle or use the ball. Ball simply keeps coming back at us.
Well today we had a proper midfield and it showed. Cant understate how important Cullen is to that.
All of the defense looked solid and Purrington had a good game. He is not a bad player and is perfectly good enough to play in a back 4 at this level.
4231 looked good and in the absence of Gallagher (or a player with a similar engine if not quality) then I think this could be our system for the rest of the season. Bot quite sure why we played Alfie in the right when he doesn't have much of a right foot. Him and Morgan switched for about 10 mins then switched back. He did his man a number of times but couldn't get the right ball in with his wrong foot.
Hemed battled hard against 2 quality centre backs who were both bigger than him. He struggled when we played long to his head but he held the ball up well when receiving it on his chest/feet.
Oztumer was quality. Everywhere and had that quality. Really like him. Fights a lot too and doesn't allow his size let him be out muscled. He is scrappy and chased everything.
Loved seeing ozzy and jonny on the pitch. Very exciting.
They obviously had quality on the ball they passed it and kept it well but didnt threaten too much with it. They had one free header but they was it really. We had plenty of openings but couldn't get the final ball right.
Absolutely snap your hand off for that result though. Positive signs. No injuries. Bit of time off before the next game. More players coming back. Couple of signings - hopefully.

Serious question. If he became available how much do you think we’d need to fork out to land him?

Just a shame the delivery of our final ball wasn't better (or our set pieces) because we could have nicked it at the end
5 wins required.

And the Valley had a decent turnout for a cold midweek game.

hemed gave his all glad he got the minutes will come back better for it. The centre back hector kept him in his pocket tho.
lockyer also had a decent game normally not a fan.
