Wigan losing at home, means this is free hit as far I'm concerned
Means we finish the day in a position no worse than we started. Would happily take an away point and extend the gap to five points plus goal difference.
Starting lineup as expected. McGeady is the loan player that misses out, which I’m a bit surprised about. Thought we might see Aneke on the bench as an option to add physical presence if needed. Expect Ozzy or Smith for Williams and Hemed for Taylor around the hour mark. Maybe Field for Pratley too, depending on how the game goes.
McGeady’s ill. I assume Aneke’s not yet ready, though maybe it’s just down to having more than 18 fit players.
Was typing my message before the link to the OS article got posted.
Beating Stoke and keeping our options open would be lovely but the season's priority at this point has got to be cutting Wigan adrift with Barnsley and Luton.
Joining you from a cloudy SW FRANCE. Tough game expected but, I think we might get at least a point with that line up today. Disappointed new signing McGeady is unavailable because of illness.

Mistake imo to leave Dougherty out. Purrington wont get forward that much & has the odd error in him (QPR).
If we can keep it tight we now have Doughty (who was looking a little leggy last game) who can come on and run at a tired back 4.
