What a life and what a final year - so sad that it ended in this way after all he had done to boost the nation during the pandemic. Have rarely felt this sad for someone I have only know through the television screen. RIP Sir.

terrific gift raising all that money for the NHS .. let's hope he enjoyed his temporary fame .. there somehow seemed an inevitability about his death as soon as he contracted Covid 19 .. R I P
