We’re gonna need 11-14-16 (how many subs is it) hero’s each week to stay up but who do you think it will be now Taylor has downed tools .
I’m going for Hemed and McGeady , yes madness but I believe they have some magic in them , whether we get to see it is another thing !
Thats prolly why I think we’ll go down !

he played superbly at Wembley and he will step up and drive others
McGeady has a point to prove too as we have not seen anything yet.
I have a hunch Oztumer might prove a shining light
I know he’s not a prolific goalscorer, but without Taylor we’ll definitely need something dangerous up top - and Jonny definitely has the pace to frighten defenders.
Sorry, but the likes of Hemed, Aneke and even Bonne just don’t fill me with any hope from an attacking perspective. Bonne can nick the odd goal but doesn’t change the balance of a game in his all round play.
Put Jonny up top and let him chase balls down and run at players, in a bit of a Jamie Vardy type role!
WE'RE DOOMED!
we are not 2008 Spain, a CAFC team without a striker will not score any goals. Jamie Vardy isn't just a pace merchant, it's all about his positioning and intelligence. None of our midfielders will be able to do that.
Either we try something different or we go down.
November was an example of that
Face it
I've seen him at work and let me tell you, that man could sell ice in hell and fire to the eskimos or something.
Matt Southall, you're hired.
Whoever the front pairing are, goalscoring is going to depend on the type and quality of service they get.
But you know, Taylor hasn't exactly played every minute of every game this season ......... I'm sure Bowyer believes we've got players to step up to the plate.
We may be pleasantly surprised.
That's because, without him, other players will be vying for his position. It becomes an incentive. A reason to give that little extra every time they turn up and train, every time Bowyer sees them with the ball at feet, or in space, every time they pull on a shirt, every time they have to bust a gut, in injury time and make a final, lung-bursting run to snatch a winner or equaliser. Taylor's absence leaves the door ajar for someone else - one player has to smash it open, give everything for the cause, win games and plant their name in Charlton history.
Who? Aneke? Bonne? Someone else? Honestly, I expect a few to pick up their games. They have to give everything for a short time. They have a one-time only, nine-game season in order to define their entire career.
Do you want to be one of the names who, when things got tough, just slipped, without trace, out of the Championship and into oblivion? Or do you want to be the one who lights up the season, inspires your team-mates, creates the opportunities, scores the goals, keeps Charlton up and secures your own legacy?
It's fewer than a dozen games. No distractions. No knockout competitions. No home-and-away, aggregate scores. No extra time. No penalties. Just nine, straightforward, World Cup Finals at Wembley.
Dillon won't let us down. Bonne will step up. Williams will create. Those three, above all, will up their game and stand fast as Charlton's heroes and have their names passed down with the same reverence as Duffy for one generation and Shirtliff for another.
We shall go on to the end. We shall fight in Wales, we shall fight in Birmingham and Leeds, we shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength in the air, we shall defend our goal, whatever the cost may be. We shall fight at the Kiyan Prince Foundation stadium, we shall practice on the training grounds, we shall fight on the pitch at the Valley, we shall beat Millwall at home; we shall never surrender.
